Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Illinois and love genealogy and find a grave. I like to try and fulfill any requests for fag and am willing to help anyone who needs it.
I am willing to transfer any sites I do to family members. Lately I am getting emails asking about Information on some people that I have input. Please use the EDIT BUTTON. I am not into how many photos I can post with the information like it is some kind of race to do the most. I just want to do the best job I can and I am always open for suggestions on my errors when asked.
This is a great site for people looking for genealogy family and for loved ones.

Yes I have received a number of Find A Grave submissions from you but due to health and family issues I have not done any of your updates. When people have sent me updates I have some times transferred the Find A Grave record to them to do the updates. Some Find A Grave members then take ownership of the record and some transfer the record back to me.
Do you want the records transferred to you for updating?
Another issue that is happening is I have received some updates from someone that I do not know. I have made several of these updates and then have been the recipient of emails saying the information is not correct. Has this happened to you?

Again, I can not thank you enough for helping me. I think it is wonderful that you are always willing to help others find missing pieces to their family tree.

His death date should be September 22, 1889 instead of February. This is according to my family records and bio in www. miningmoreinmoweaqua.com. I am his 4x great grandaughter.

RE: permelia hensley babbs
Hello Janet,

If your question is, who are the parents of Permelia Cordelia Hensley b. 30 Aug 1838 d.10 Jun 1987?

I have in my files that her parents are Walter Waller Hensley and Eliza J (Robinson) Hensley and she married William Melville Babbs 14 Aug 1854 in Ohio County, Indiana.

This line of family gets very confusing for many due to the fact that there are two Walter Hensley cousins and their mothers are twins Alsafair Cooper and Lovey Cooper. Both sisters married brothers. Alsafair married Samuel Hensley and Lovey married his brother Joseph Snell Hensley. The Hensley brothers are the sons of James Hensley and Catherine Waller.

The best way to separate the cousins with the same name of Walter Hensley, is by the middle name of the first born cousin and that is "Waller". therefor Walter Waller Hensley b. 1801 d.1880 is the son of Samuel and Alsafair (Cooper) Hensley.

I am working with the historical society where he is buried to get everyone's information correct. My data comes from over 100 years of collected Hensley family research and documents. My cousin and myself have worked with Thomas Hensley of Virgina, who at his wise years of 92 has by far the most complete documented research. He has consulted on Marty Grants web page for information and has been kind enough to entrust me with his files. I am a direct line of James Hensley and Sarah Lyttle to John Hensley and Mary Louise Essix and then there son Samuel Hensley and Mary Richardson and their son Samuel Hensley and Martha Snell. Then down to James Hensley and Catherine Waller and their son Samuel Hensley and Alsafair Cooper and next Levin Hensley and Mary Summers to James Cooper Hensley and Mary Matilda Goodall and Their son Charles Pearl Hensley and Elsie Gann. My line ends with my grandmother Audrey Hensley. Although my 91 year old great uncle Max Hensley is still alive and outside of Thomas Hensley, he is the oldest direct Hensley of the Original Hensley family in America.

If I can help in any way with this line. feel free to contact me anytime.
