LYNDAKER
HI! Yes he world is getting smaller. Years ago families would be born, live and die in the same communities. Now they can be anywhere in the world. I am not related to these LYNDAKERs. I just research any similar name in hopes I find a connection. When families came thru Ellis Island family names frequently changed. Our family came from Lorraine, France. Who would have guested it?
Best wishes to you and yours. Keep up the good work.
I am originally from Long Island, NY, parents were from Pittsburgh, PA.

RE: Jeanette's siblings
Okay, so she was one of Grampa Jud's sisters. Thank you for that. I didn't know how many siblings he had. Do you have info about burial?

RE: Judson Mealus
My grandmother was Hope Mealus Smith, daughter of Judson Mealus and Nettie Brown Mealus. They had five daughters, including Grama: Rose, Hope, Violet, Christine and Charlotte. They also had a son, William, who died at birth. Nettie died shortly thereafter, like within days.

RE: Graddy Family Cemetery Washington, Beaufort Co., N.C.
Hi Charlotte,

Thank you for contacting me about the Graddy Cemetery. We got the info on them from some death certificates, and some family trees on Ancestry. We have found out in the past that a lot of the death certificates have the wrong cemeteries listed which makes it impossible to find the right cemetery. I have also come across family cemeteries that had two or three cemeteries with the same last name. Those cemeteries can create a lot of problems. We have come across that problem with our family. Do you think we should delete the ones that you were not able to find?,or should we leave them for the time being. I'm wondering if they possibly didn't have a headstone marking the grave. We could also put a note on the ones that the volunteer could not find. If you could give us the surnames that you found, we will add them to the memorials. If you have any suggestions on what would be the best thing to do about this, we would appreciate it very much. We don't mind making changes to get the correct cemetery. Again thank you for any help you could provide.

New Cemeteries
Thanks for approving the edit. I may have more. I was at that cemetery as a friend moved in there last year and I needed a pic for his listing. I also did a few photo requests while I was there.

If I had more time I would have stopped at the 'new' cemetery and taken a few pics to help determine if it is a new find. I just noted the gps location and took an aerial pic using google maps. I'll email it to you along with the town and road name. I can't find a listing for it on Find A Grave.

This weekend, I also passed the cemetery I told you about years ago outside of Turin, NY. It's still there. lol.

Found another cemetery
Hi,

I was in the area last weekend. Haven't been up here for 5 years! I have to work on that. I sent you an edit to add the spouse of c. murrock and I may have more edits once I process my pics. If you're going up there anytime soon, I'll give you the name of the road the cemetery is on & approx gps coord. I drove right past it, before I realized it was there. Didn't see a sign and it doesn't appear to be on Find A Grave. Louie's in BC is closing.

Best Regards.

The Watertown Re-Union, 9/21/1898 has a death notice for Amos G Avery, d.9/8/1898, age 76. Died near Great Bend.

No sure if its him.
