Doing family research on Coyne/Cohen and in-laws in Clark Mills, Oneida county and central New York.|
Please feel free to use any photos I have added to Findagrave.
I have created virtual cemeteries for the Revolutionary, 1812 and Civil war veterans and wives buried in Jefferson, Lewis, Franklin, Clinton, Essex, Oneida, Oswego and St Lawrence counties, NY. The Revolutionary and 1812 cemeteries were created from lists found online. The Civil war list consists of stones I have come across and suggestions from others.
Any additions, links or corrections you have for the memorials would be most welcome. Please send them by using the "Edit" tag on the memorial in question. Many obits and other news items are posted in the "Family Events" section of my homepage. The "Revolution & 1812" page contains lists of Revolutionary burials, pensioners and interesting articles found in newspapers.

Thanks for sharing your NNY SAR/DAR Joint Patriot Project information, Bruce. Kudos on all you have done so far.
We just got started adding information to Town of Wayne (Steuben Co., NY) Cemeteries webpage last year. We have a long way to go to match your effort. In addition to veterans, I'm trying to "flesh out" Find A Grave Memorials for those buried in Wayne and nearby cemeteries. We hope to add info on Revolutionary War and War of 1812 Patriots buried in neighboring towns that are spread over three counties. I hope to get that started this summer after we get to NY (presently in TX). Your info will help in that regard.

Now I am not sure if his second wife who was married 1st to George Matteson is buried here ( Dexter). I thought she was but put in a request for a photo of George's stone to make sure she wasn't buried beside him..Thank you for your time.

I have just found that Ralph Gotham's 1st wife who was also Blanche is buried in the Dexter cemetery. I had to go by the dates. The one you added the stone to her memorial was his second wife Blanche. Can you please change the picture from his second wife's memorial to his first.. Confusing isn't it..first wife Blanche # 159973135
his second wife (also Blanche) her memorial # 54575006. Thank you. Thelma

|Inez Douglas Freeman||Morris E Freeman|
Thank you for adding information for Morris E Freeman. My husband never had a chance to meet his grandfather, so its nice to share the photo with our family and tell our children about his service. Morris was adopted by the Freeman family as a baby, in 1924 and we are searching for any information on his adoption! Anyone with info please contact me! Thank you!
