Are you related to Mary Shannon, the 2nd wife of Norman Rice? Norman was a brother to my Great Grandfather, Dexter. Do you have any information on this Rice Family? David Rice was the Father of Norman and Dexter. We are searching for the name of David's Father.
Thanks, Adele Rice Spidahl

Sorry - no only once.

Truthfully I'm not sure which spelling is correct - I just happened to notice the dups and that the other memorial does have a note on the 2 spellings. I don't know if that contributor may have more information or not. Maybe putting in a photo request would answer the spelling question - as there are some volunteers doing photos in that cemetery I believe. Good luck!
|Jen Starks||Melissa Shannon Brennan|
My name is Jennifer. Melissa's brother George Shannon was married to a distant cousin of mine; Kate Ann Richardson. I also, found a Melissa Shannon married to Kate's brother; Frank Wallace Richardson in Charles City, Floyd County in 1882. They would've divorced around 1883/1884. I was just wondering if this Melissa could possibly be it. Do you know anything about a marriage previous to Mr. Brennan in 1895?
Jeanette: I sent you an email today (11/11/13). Please check your inbox and also your spam folder. Thank you. D. Harmsen

I've been to that cemetery, its in my cousin's back yard...nothing there but briars, brambles, and a few broken stones. I've heard that there is a listing somewhere of who all was buried there, but have not seen it. Can you give me a hint as to where I might get a look at it?
