I do Find A Grave not only to help others, but as a pass time. I am disabled and this gives me something to go out to do that does not cost more than my time and gas money. I work on my family tree and hopefully the pictures I take help someone with their trees.
RE: Slusser Responded quickly last night after returning from a 5 day bus trip. Checking now and I do not have a headstone for Hannah Noss, wife of Solomon 'Sollie' Slusser (buried elsewhere), if you would add that, please #142613338. I have Malinda, Elizabeth and Charles Slusser's headstone. The Elizabeth is the mother of Charles.
I do not have the photo of the stone which says "Mother" which is probably for Elizabeth, if you would add that, too, please.
RE: Hannah Slusser Esther, I REALLY appreciate your searching for a headstone for Hannah. Please read the bio at Memorial #142613338. If you would like me to include your name, I will certainly do that.
I do know that at times no markers are erected, my gr. grandmother being one of those as well as my wife's sister.
The cemetery books relied on cemetery records as well as people reading headstones, so I was told.
RE: elizabeth slusser I agree that the date is off. I did not create the memorial so I wonder why the correction came to me. Tammy Clark created it, and she is now deceased.
I do have Charles (05 Sep 1888-1929) and Malinda in my files (29 Jan 1889-1964) (Stone birth date is wrong). BUT I have no idea who Elizabeth is unless she is a sister to Charles, but I have her still alive in 1931. Obviously, she is related somehow.
I will ask Find A Grave that the date be corrected.
