Thank you for adding great photos to these memorials. I am having trouble reading the last line on the newest stone for William Morgan which reads in part (........Religion in 1912.) Can you tell me what the first word is on that last line. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am dubious of the family relationships connected to Preshie's Find A Grave memorial. Isaac and Nancy Galyon were my 3rd great grandparents and I have researched the family for some time online. The data used to connect Preshie to them is the 1850 US Census, which was poorly transcribed on Ancestry.com showing Isaac as "Jean." The daughter that is identified as Preshie has a name that clearly begins with the letter "O." My best guess is the name "Orissa" but I can't prove that. I suspect that Preshie's parents were William and Jane Galyon, based on Ancestry.com hints, even though she does not appear with that family in the 1850 US Census. William was Isaac Galyon's brother and lived in the same community. The only explanation I have for Preshie not being listed with her family in 1850 is the possibility that she was visiting other relatives when the census taker came to the house. I have found records like this several times while doing research and have even found people listed twice in the same census because of it. Thanks for your contributions to Find A Grave and happy hunting!

|M. A. Claxton||Thomas Divine transfer|
Thank you SO MUCH for transferring Thomas Divine's memorial to my care. I am away from my data right now, but will add information when I can get it together. I truly appreciate your doing this for us.
Thank you for trying to get the picture of Sarah Henderson for me in Greene County, TN. Maybe one day when I get over there I can go, I have a few others to get in Greene and would make a nice sunny day excursion.

|Anita Morgan||William Morgan, Big Creek Cem|
Hi, I'm Anita Morgan. Are you the one that put the new monument for William Morgan at Big Creek Cem? If not do you know who did? My husbands lineage starts with William and Mariah (Hunt) Morgan, buried at Campground Cem in Springtown, Tn., Polk County. We were wondering if this could be his dad. They both are from S.C.
