Carl Christian Trane
Dear Dan,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to documentation, Carl Trane was in the same unit as my grandfather.

I'm not sure where I'm going with my research, but I want to eventually publish something. It may be a book, an article, or something else. Should I publish something, may I have permission to use your photograph of Carl Christian Trane's gravestone? I'm not even sure I'll use the photograph, but I want to be prepared.

With warm regards,

Bryan Anderson

Thank you very much for the photo you took of the Oraas markers. This very important for future generations when they are trying to locate loved ones burial locations.

I Dan,
Thanks for updating. I am a very very distant relative, no sure how to count cousins. I am new at this. What is involved? Roberta
