In the memorial (#47834511) for Edward Patent Bennett, the name of Nora E. Hartley Bennett (1892-1981) is listed as a spouse. She is the daughter of Edward Patent Bennett. She is buried in Arcadia Cemetery, Arcadia, Indiana. His wife is listed as Nora Bennett (1880-1936).Can you make this correction? Mary Jane Flaningam

I saw your info for Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville, Hamilton Co, Ind, regarding Israel Haines, 1812-1880, with a link to the grave of an unknown spouse that died in 1870. First, thank you for all that you have done here on Find a Grave.
My cousin Ida M. Foster (maiden name is March) is buried with her son Loring Foster. The find a grave memorial indicates that they are spouses. They are buried in Cicero, Hamilton, Indiana.
Thanks for making this correction. I can provide documentation if you desire it.
Thank you for linking the Eakins memorials and for being so very helpful many many times!

hi! nora is tied into my family tree but not this nora. it says that she is d/o andrew j whelchel and yet married to an elbert whelchel. this is not the same nora. i think it may be the one married to elbert but my nora; d/o andrew j whelchel, never married. i have her on a census report from 1940 Noblesville, IN living with her sister and her family. i have yet to come across any death record of any kind on her at all. if you happen across something like that i sure would appreciate it if you would pass that on to me!
nora's # is 57954477

The birth date I have for him is 31 Mar 1802.
I have Lavinia Evans as his first wife.
The marriage record you posted calls him James "Deaton". Is that how they wrote it?
Sidney Lena was "Sidney LEAH," but most of the time, she was called just, "Leah".

I see what has happened here....The "Record Summary," (my term for the first page of the memorial that summarizes 'the facts') says she died on 18 Oct 1860, which corresponds to the age listed on the 1860 US Census. This is what got entered into my tree when I attached the record.
The tombstone says 18 Oct 1868, which IS exactly 10 years, 3 months and 6 days after her birth date of 12 Jul 1858.
I have seen this phenomenon before on other Find-A-Grave memorials. In fact, I wrote to John Anderson, a Contributor, about it, because I could not get the memorial and the Record Summary to agree for someone. He sent me an email address of someone who could address this. So, I plan to write to him about this memorial. I am sure other people have had problems like this also.

Thank you for the transfers. I will be working on them later today as I have an appointment.
I wish I could find out where John Porter was buried. I did look in Cicero Cemetery, but I didn't find him there. It's very strange. He was living in White River Township, Hamilton County, so you would think he would be buried in that vicinity.
I wanted to get his Death Certificate, but it is before the cut-off date.
