I'm a widower for over the last Seven year, and I find it rather interesting going thru cemetery tracing family lives and even some of cemetery have some great history. I did a trace on my family tree and I found this site very useful. I try to get information right but if their any error ,please inform me ,I don't mind. I'm only human.I will transfer any information to any family member for I know they can do a better job.Have fun while you can|

Larry, thank you for expressing that! I find that other people are doing it for the numbers, a hobby with no meaning and/or some kind of glory. Thank Heaven there are people like you who truly do this volunteer work from the heart and realize what it means to family. You touch my heart.
Some of them need to look up the definition of "vulunteer".
It's all interesting of course, especially if you've grown up in a specific community where you have many relatives and a long history. Yes, you also recognize that NO ONE can take care of a memorial like a loving, caring family member who actually KNEW that person, shared a bloodline and carries them in his/her heart. Strangers who do this as a hobby can't relate to this and it's very disturbing to me and it hurts. I'm interested in maintaining memorials for my family only and the occasional very special person(s) in my life. That should take ALL my tiny bit of extra time. My 92 year old Mother lives with me now.
I wish more people shared your views. You have blessed me with transfers of "MY people" more than once. And that's how I feel . . . My people. It's a place in the heart that many genealogists don't understand as they compete for memorials. It's not right and it never will be. Their hearts are just not in the right place. Your heart is.
Thank you from the bottom of mine, and for understanding. That's special.
Wishing you the best in this Holiday Season.

Larry, thank you so very sweetly for the transfers on my two John Wesley's. Your work is so valuable and you are very generous, not just trying to collect "numbers" as some do.
Wishing you all the blessings of the Holiday Season.

You took the photo's for this memorial. On the middle photo, it's angled so I cannot read the spouse's side of the photo. Do you have a shot still that shows the spouse's info?
I am pretty sure they have the wrong spouse linked to Willie May, She was a female and have her husband as Lee Abbott. Just wanted to verify on the stone though.
