I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the information regarding the death of this man. You sent it several months ago and I'm just now getting around to getting some corrections/additions made. I appreciate your work and all you do for Find A Grave.

|Mari ||Brawner descendants|
I realize you may or may not be related to the Brawners, but if you are I would like to get in touch with a J. S. Brawner descendant since I think we share common ancestry. More info available if there is a Brawner connection.

|Mike Maxwell||21st Missouri grave found|
While researching 54th OVI information for a friend, ran across the grave for 'Frormann, August of Co. K, 21st MO' at Mound City Nat'l Cemetery, Illinois. His name is spelled 'Augustus Foreman' and he is in Plot F-0-4420 with death date 21 JAN 1863, find-a-grave #22912786.
Just a question: Any idea where Patrick Cahalan or Joshua Hutchison were buried? Both died JAN 1863 at Columbus, Kentucky, but cannot find cemetery. (May help in finding 54th Ohio Cyrus Ballard grave.)
|Charlotte Simons||Ella Jackson Clay Selby|
Ella and Hiram Clay were parents of seven children: six girls and one son. Only three are listed on this Memorial. Although I have added and corrected information in a number of cemeteries and am logged in as an authorized contributor, I have been unable to add to the list of Ella and Hiram's children here. Tennie Selby Burk was my grandmother and Ella and Hiram Selby were my great-grandparents.
Here are those who should be added.
Paul Owen Selby (1890 - 1982)
Lois Buhl Selby Halladay (1897 - 1980)
Eunice Leota Selby Chambers (1900 - 1967)
Ruth Dumire Selby Voorhees (1903 - 1996)
Thank you very much for making this correction.
Charlotte (Chockie) Burk Forsythe Simons

Thank you for quickly attending to the request I made only yesterday for info about George. I am truly grateful for the extensive biographical information you have provided. Best wishes, David

|Angela Peters||Henning Family, Iroquois Theatre Fire|
While updating the memorials for the Hemming Family of Ann Arbor, Michigan, I found that 5 of them are linked to your virtual cemetery for the Iroquois Theatre Fire of 1903. Unfortunately, the 5 memorials linked to your virtual cemetery are not only duplicates, but they are erroneous. While the Hennings did die tragically in the fire, the bodies were all sent back to Ann Arbor, Michigan where they are buried in the Hennings Family Plot in Forest View Cemetery. Another Find A Grave member erroneously created memorials for them in Rosehill Cemetery in Illinois. I have sent numerous requests to that person to have them removed. The correct memorials at Forest Hill Cemetery in Ann Arbor are:
Emily Henning (mother, died a few weeks after the fire of smoke inhalation): 19035847
Her four sons who all died in the fire:
William Henning: 19035718
Edwin Henning: 19035758
James Henning, Jr.: 19035786
Charles Henning: 19035740
While researching the fire, I read in a newspaper article that the body of James Henning, Jr. was accidentally mistaken for that of another boy. They found James's body interred a few weeks after the fire in a different family's mausoleum somewhere in Illinois. It was exhumed and sent back to Michigan.
