Do you know if there are any grave markers on the Coy, siebert families in the cemetery. That a photographer would go to photo them. I see there are only 14 people listed and they are all related. I am a Coy descendant by virture of Daniel Skinner Coy. If there are no markers to be photo'd, is there a picture of the cemetery sign that could photo'd and added to these memorials? - Sue Armstrong

Hi there and good morning.
This one was really fun to find.
I do not accept "Edit" links until I am sure they are correct. When Find A Grave first started family links I thought yes to everything. GOT BURNED, so have been careful every since.
If Ruby is family or friend I will be happy to transfer the memorial over to your caring hands.
Best regards to you and all yours, Bud

Mary Jane Glass Owen
Just wanted to let you know that I have been over Old Salem Cemetery many times. I have never seen a tombstone for Mary Jane Glass Owen. Many stones are unreadable and many are just missing. I compiled a list of burials from reading actual stones, plus a paper list from years ago. A few more have been added from family members who believe that their relative is buried there. Hope this helps. Jane

Flora May Callaway
Thanks for finding the correct name for Flora May. I was going from the obituary for W.E. and the first part of her name was not readable but it looked like the last part was ura which lead me to believe it may have been Laura. I think based on the census data you can remove the Laura and just leave it Flora. If she was 2 in 1880 and she died when she was about 12 per the obituary that explains why she doesn't show up on the 1890 census.

RE: Ernest Barksdale
Thank you for the Plat record!! So helpful! If I can't find the stone on my first pass through I will try and check the Plat book to see if I can find the stones for neighbors to verify that I was in the right place. I'll make a second sweep and let you know if I find anything.
Cheers!

Martin Fox
Thanks for alerting me to the death date of Martin Fox. Someone posted a tombstone pic since I last looked at this memorial. I also chanaged his bio since I now know the names of his children and can verify the census records, even though his wife's name keeps changing.

It has been removed per your request. Thank you for being nice and polite about it. I have recently come across someone who wasn't as nice about it. I had recently come across this newspaper, which I had saved so many years ago because a friend had passed away. I do appreciate the fact that you took the time to add the info to the bio before asking me to delete it. Someone else expected me to type one out and send it through the edits and wouldn't process a couple of edits I suggested (off info in the obit) until I removed one (also from the same paper). I won't be making this mistake again anytime soon!! Thank you for your time.
