This has been my hobby for over seven years, started long before I discovered any websites for posting them.|
I find myself concentrating on the older, broken, unreadable tombstones, the ones that, because of layers of mold, lichen and grime, are so obscure that people tend to walk right past them. I get more satisfaction uncovering a lost individual's stone than I do photographing huge monuments that will be around for a thousand years and those more modern ones of the men whose bones have partially disintegrated while still clothed in the everlasting polyester suits that they were buried in!

Hi there, I have been admiring your photos. That is a good question. I am a novice here. However, when I pull up both the Mary Louise Kellys in Rockdale, I notice one is more complete than the other. Here are the links:

Hello ~ Do you know in what cemetery you photographed this grave marker?
There's another memorial for Helen Hosch with the same grave marker photo but at a different cemetery (27024926).
Would like to get this cleared up. Thanks ~ Jo C

Thank you for the updated gravestone inscription.

You posted a picture of a farm. Thank you. I added it to Ancestry in the Mohr Family Tree.
Do you have any proof of the fact that Townsend F Fugitt was the son of Hiram Fugitt (1794-1873) and Nancy Brown (1801-1850)? Note that there is also a younger Hiram Fugitt too. I am looking for a birth or death certificate, an obituary, probate records, etc.
I am at email@example.com.
Thank you again,

I just left a request for Lillian E. Frommelt. 111808937
She is listed as Frank's wife. I have been looking at information for the Frommelt's and she is his sister, not his wife. I don't think that either one of them were ever married. I just did link reuests to connect her to her parents, Teresa Sporrer Frommelt and Alexander Frommelt.
Thank you, Cheryl.
|Daniel Cooley||Garnavillo Cooley gravestones|
I can't thank you enough for your terrific updates to my Cooley sites. I've never been proud of those terrible pictures (slides) I took of Salome Cooley, AS Cooley, and Verne Alton Cooley. I've deleted them. What great pictures you took.
It looks like those gravestones have been cleaned up especially Verne's. I'd like to thank you or the person who did the cleaning.
|Patricia Quinn||Charles Clyde Stone & Family Information|
Hello, The parent and brother listed for Charles Clyde are my ggreat grandmother, Catherine Clyde-Kneeland and great grandfather Henry S. Clyde. I know of the third brother, but, have not found documents showing Charles as the 3rd child in our family. If you know who submitted the information, I like to contact them to see our connection. Any help would be wonderful. Thankyou in advance for any consideration. Pat Quinn -
