I became interested in genealogy and finding my roots many years ago. In 2005, I began working for a company that has several cemeteries located near it. Weather permitting, I started going out during my lunch hour and visiting these cemeteries and taking pictures. I then discovered the MI Tombstone Project were I could upload my photos and help others locate their ancestors. |
I've been trying to add my photos onto Find-A-Grave but it is a longer process trying to upload to two different sites. I have faith that I will eventually get it done. Somewhere along the way I also became Michigan's Ingham County Keeper for Find A Grave. If you find one of my photos on MI Tombstone Project, please let me know and I will upload it to FAG.
If you happen to stumble upon any Vance, Kaloz, Torok, Meehan, Cosgriff, Quinlans, Davarns, McVeigh I'd love to hear from you.
Note: If you find a photo that I took click on that photo and you will see my notes. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find other ancestors that you didn't know about based on my comments.
Please read the Help with Find A Grave link before requesting transers. I'm pretty good about fulfilling requests outside of the "direct relatives within four generations" rule. I believe the memorials are in better hands with family and/or a descendant than with myself that is a stranger to the family history. Plus, I have discovered that it is easier for "living" relatives to find you if you are the manager of the memorial. However, if you demand the request versus asking politely and if you don't state your relationship you will not receive the memorial.

You are very welcome. I always prefer that a family member or someone who cares about the deceased manage the memorial! I'm not into "collecting" them!

I think connecting family is what it is all about! Enjoy!
While the Weston's do not fall in the Find a Grave transfer requirements, I have made the transfers you requested because it is always my goal to unite family members to memorials that I am not related to. Have a blessed day.

Thank you for adding the memorials for Fred Hoskins and his wife Mable Ann Niblack Hoskins!
I am distantly related to them. His sister Maude B Hoskins Dillon is my great-grandmother.
Are you related to them also?
