That's a wonderful idea. I will send a note to his widow if I can locate her current address. My friend, who was his son, died in 1999.

Sorry, I don't have the obituary. Info I posted was from his son who was a close friend of mine.

Samuel Howard Nelson
There is no marker on Samuel's grave yet. The staff showed me where he is and I have marked his grave with small flowers and taken a photo. Kathy

Dear Mr. Colton,
I contacted the cemetery in re: to Mr. Nelson. The grave is on Chapel Hill in section 14 10. Grave is #9. I have been to the marked area 2 times now and cannot locate his grave. In the spot where #9 is located there is no grave marker. The cemetery does no use headstones, just markers. I called and they seemed suprised re: no headstone, so perhaps having another caller could get more information from the grounds.
Sincerely,
Mindy Wroten

RE: Mary Dodd
You're welcome! I'm glad I could help! The headstone was quite worn down and difficult to read, but I will send you what I took.

RE: Eugene Fruhwirth
Colton, I would be glad to transfer Eugene to you. Could you please make the request on the Edit of the memorial. It is much easier to make the transfer.

Thanks,
Sonja

RE: Morgan P.B.Faulkner
Dear Colton,
Wish I had some info about Morgan being sheriff, but I don't. He really took care of his family, though. I looked to your memorial for him for the info I added to his mother's memorial at the end. I just found his dad 2 days ago & have known for a long time that his middle names are to honor his grandfather, Peter Burkhart. He may also have been named after his uncle, Morgan Tennessee Burkhart (1831-1902), who would go on to join the Union Army (as did his father), but Morgan came home, unlike his father, which is really sad. I'd like to know more about what happened to his sibs if you know. I'm doing a family tree (who isn't?).
Would like to hear from you again, please. My email address is good_foottoo@yahoo.com
With all sincerity,
Kathie L.Webb Blair, Portland, Oregon
