Bio and Links
Bio Photo Photos are not to be used on any other side. I appreciated Findagrave for allowing me to create memorials and add the headstone photos, so therefore they should be credited FIRST.

Rude replies will not accomplish receiving edit or transfer requests. They may be forwarded to Find a Grave administration for 'processing. Please remember, all of us on Findagrave are volunteers.

PLEASE DO NOT use the automatic edit tabs for changes to memorial pages managed by me.

Instead: select the 'other' option and include what change and include a PRIMARY source of information and verification of that information. Birth, marriage, death records, or an obit are very helpful.

Unless I know you and know your work, PLEASE state the source (or reason) for the change/addition in the info

LINK family requests-it is particularly important to have the correct people in the proper relationships. Too many incorrect links are ending up needing to be removed at a later date.

"Don't automatically believe all the online trees you find with your ancestors' names. The trees could be wrong, or it could be someone else of the same name and age. We tend to think people were few and far between back then, so it can be surprising how many folks in the same place had the same names. " Diane Haddad, Editor, Family Tree Magazine, FamilyTreeMagazine.com

I have been told "I know what I am doing." "That is the only person listed with that name". And have been lied to "That is my grandma" (which in this case I was directly related, it was my grandmother, lol) Sent census records as a source that the names and spellings have been changed to proof their source, or My mother told me. I have been told, "I have their obit" but yet can not provide it. When no source of information is provided, one can only wonder. I am sorry for the rude few that have caused doubt.

Note that Find A Grave, though a valuable resource for genealogists, is not primarily a genealogical website. Certain highly detailed genealogical data (e.g. census transcriptions) is more suited for sites like Rootsweb. Nor do I LIST family members.

Also, if you have nothing to add to the memorial, and just want to have the page because they are related, there's no need for a transfer. I have a lot of time, cost for travel, sun burns, bug bites and a lot of aches and pains involved in my listings so I prefer to keep them.

I have lived in the area for many years, I may be just as related to individuals listed as you are.
