I am a direct descendant of the Copp, Brown, Peck, Ward, McIntyre, and Shaw families on my father's side. Roloff, Crescelius, Garbrecht, Pfersich, Zastrow, and Ziemer families from Prussia on my mother's side. I am making a special effort to photograph stones at Terre Haute Cemetery in Henderson County, IL. Many of the stones are faded and breaking off. I want to preserve them digitally before it's too late. My Peck & Shaw ancestors rest at this cemetery, so it is very important to me.|
As with everyone else, if you find a relative's memorial that I have created, you can have it to manage. Just drop me a note via Find-a-Grave. I am creating memorials because I can get to these cemeteries to take the pictures. I appreciate the memorials people have made for my family members who are buried far away. Thank you, all!

Whatever you can do will certainly be appreciated.

I am trying find where my great, great grandmother, Sarah Margaret (Emery) Allen is buried. She was born Oct. 29, 1849 and died April 21, 1881, and was living in Durham township, Hancock County, Ill. at the time. I noticed that you had photographed the headstones of her parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Emery in the La Harpe cemetery. Other family members are also buried there. When you have time, could you see if Sarah might be there as well? Thanks so much for all you do.

Well, at least the snow made a good background for the darker stones! I shlepped around in snow in an Iowa cemetery a few years ago. When you get to a far-off area, you have to persevere!

So glad to hear from you! It's been a long time and I hope you're doing well. I've made the changes to Bessie's memorial -- also linked her to her parents. I notice that her father's date of birth on Find A Grave is a 10 years off from what you had in your email. You might want to check that -- along with all of the additions I made -- for errors.
Lucky you with a day at the Biggsville Library. I know a lot of people would laugh about that, but I would love it!

There is a note on this one about her 3 daughters, but only lists link to one of them. One of the others in the note is Helen Victoria Herzog and says don't have location of burial. You actually created her site also only you have it as Helen Y Herzog memorial #161414625, perhaps you would like to link these two.

Yes, take care of yourself!
And wow! That's a lot of pictures to upload! Great job!
Sometimes I wish Find A Grave would send an email when a picture is uploaded to a memorial, I would love to see every one of them and make any adjustments or corrections as needed.
Keep in touch!
