I have always loved the old cemeteries. My interest in genealogy has brought me back into the cemeteries to find my roots. I love helping others to discover their past and to honor and remember those that have come before us. |
Currently I am working on photographing and transcribing the cemeteries of Queens Co. and Long Island, New York. I love learning about the interesting families that lived here and I am happy to help others when I can.
Nearly all of the information for the memorials I have entered is taken from photographs which I have personally taken. In the interest of getting as many people entered as possible, I have gotten behind in adding all my photos. If you see a memorial which I have entered and you would like a photo, please request the photo by clicking the "request a photo" tab on the memorial and then drop me a line to let me know that you have put in the request. I am not automatically notified when a photo request has been made on a memorial I have created.
I welcome all corrections. I try to be as accurate as I possibly can.

Thank you very much for the photo of Pvt Gustamolsky's stone at Mount Lebanon. There are so many requests there, I didn't think I'd ever see it.
|J. Karl||John Wilson|
You sent me a correction for John that the year he died was 1814. If you go to his memorial his stone says he died in 1811.

Thank you very much for the picture of Abraham Kaufman's gravestone. I've been trying for a very long time to help my neighbor find his grandfather's gravestone.
