I would love for you to visit my memorial dedicated to John "Doc" Hoy and leave a floral tribute. I found his very sad story in an Omaha Newspaper from April 1899. I have no idea what Hoy family he actually belongs to, but have adopted him to mine, nevertheless.

Thank You,
Kathy

Re:Victor leymeister
Victor leymeister was married to my grandfathers aunt. Margaret neifert leymeister. Her sister carrie neifert (my great grandmother) also married a leymeister. His name was harry leymeister. I do not think victor or harry are related. Leymeister is a VERY popular name in s. Haven and orwigsburg. I do know victor is buried in salem cemetery in orwigsburg. Is there a grave with harry there?

RE: Re: Robert Warren Koontz, Sheraton Cemetery, Auburn, Nemaha Co., Ne.
I had jotted some notes from articles I'd seen in the D.C. library which has the files of the Star. You could get your local library to connect to the D.C. library and let you browse those files and maybe the Washington Post. FYI: The Library of Congress has older newspaper archives and photos from long ago that are loaded with neat data. Lastly, check out Carl Braatz in Cedar Hill cemetery in Suitland, Md - you will like this one!

Sister of John Van Hall
Hello! I would like to connect with those of you related / connected to John Van Hall. From recent research by my cousin, it looks like John Van Hall is the sister our great grandmother Johanna Catherine Van Hall ( b12/4/1877 D 3/9/1959). If anyone has any information about John's family, can you send it? Thank you! 11/15/2016

F-a-G management
Hi, Kathy.
I had a disappointment regarding requesting management transfer of a memorial managed by Find-a-Grave. It took over a month to get declined. I turned right around and made a second request, pointing out the long delay and how the volunteers must be overloaded. Doubt if it will succeed.
I find their transfer policies extremely restrictive. I manage several of my Great-greats four generations back, and apparently only because the policy was ignored. But I shouldn't complain.
I wondered, though, if you had any experience with memorials managed by Find-a-Grave? I'm guessing they take over inactives. If you have any advice or know any ways to work around this problem, I would like to know. Thanks.

Walnut Grove Cemetery
Kathy,
I saw the wonderful tombstone picture you placed on Rev. William Crow's Memorial. My husband and I will be going to Brownville, Nebraska, next week and we are wondering if you could tell us where Walnut Grove Cemetery is and if you remember where William Crow is buried. He died in 1865 and would be one of the original people buried in Walnut Grove. He is my 4th Great Grandfather and I would like to put flowers on his tombstone.
Hope to hear back from you.

Re: George & Amelia Meyer
Thanks for processing edits.
When my Mom and I were at Glenrock last January, my Mom was trying to remember who else was buried there. Don't know if this couple and their children were who she couldn't remember. They are the parents of Mom's aunt Ella, one of her favorites. Mom will be glad to hear they are connected.
I'll just keep plugging them in and you keep lighting them up...
