Born in Fayette County, Alabama in 1948 but grew up in Birmingham, Alabama in the West End community. I attended West End High School and then Jacksonville State University with a BS degree in accounting. Worked in accounting for 35 years then retired in 2006. I love searching for my ancestors and creating family trees. Family trees on my mother's side include Sims, South, Ward and Hankins in Fayette, Lamar and Marion Counties and on my father's side include Robertson, Tidwell and Pratt in Blount, Cullman, Etowah and Jefferson Counties. Find-A-Grave has been a very helpful tool in that regard. I enjoy traveling and riding my Suzuki 1500 Intruder as often as possible.
