I am just getting started with FindaGrave but have been researching family since 1983. I am a retired rocket scientist who got started on the Saturn V moon rocket in 1965.|
Working to get my many photos on Findagrave. Finding many cousins in the process.

Thanks so much. I'm also related, but by a very circuitous route, to her husband Joshua Warner. The Warners, Edmonds and Smiths (my direct line) all lived near one another from the mid-1700s to the mid-1800s and even later, and often married within that little group of families.

I did wonder -- they seemed to be so close to each other. I suppose it was Beersheba when it was administered by the Moravians, and afterwards became Lock 17. I noticed quite a few people working on the canal died and were buried there.
I have several old pictures of Uncle George! and stories, Grandad Irl took care of him and provided his headstone. Most of the pictures have Uncle George, Grandad Irl and my grandmother in them.

I see you may be related. Edwards Hills Trask & Mary Louger Parsons were my 3x great grandparents. ~ Cyndee

I came across the memorial for John Dunlap as I have him in a family tree that i am working on. I was wondering I you would give me permission to use the photos for my genealogy purposes.

Hello, I saw that you added pictures to Thelma L. Marsden's page. Were you related to her? She was my Grandma.
|Jean Jorgensen||Mary Brockman Allen|
I have taken some photos from the Pardee Cemetery but haven't been back in awhile. I will try to get there and get a photo of Mary's gravestone. I didn't "claim" it because it may be more than 12 days before I can get there.
I have a couple suggestions for you with regard to Mary's memorial page (#49646372).
- On Robert's memorial there is a biography. Maybe adapt that for a biography for Mary, i.e. date of marriage, where they lived, etc. Repeating the information is fine.
- Add Robert (#49607764) to Mary's Family Links.
- Add each of the children that Mary mothered to her Family Links(as they are on Robert's page).
- The photo of Mary with the children shows five children, yet Robert's memorial states she had four daughters. The one child looks like a boy.
Maybe try to identify the children on the caption of the photo.
- Because there are two wives, add a caption to the photo of Robert and a woman, on his memorial page - who is the woman?
P.S. The Green name sneaks into my family line every now and then. :-)

Well, I only stumbled onto your side of the family because of Mary Angelina Brockman, who was married to Robert Lewis Allen. Mary Brockman is my first cousin 5x removed. So, fairly distant but it was so interesting to see the Allen information that you have found. I have searched fairly far back on the Brockman side but so far the picture you provided of her is the only picture of the Brockman side of the family that I have found.
I will definitely take a look at the link you gave me.
You seem like you have all of your bases covered with your research but if by chance you'd ever like info from me, please let me know.
