When I was a child, walking through the cemetery on "Decoration Day" was a very special time. We all wore our best clothes and took flowers to all our family's graves.|
Find A Grave makes that possible any time we wish.
Not only can we visit the cemeteries, but we can read about the lives and families on the loved ones memorials, and see photos of them.
Thank you to all of you who leave flowers and tokens on my memorials.
Family has always been most precious to me.

All corrections to my records will be made - thank you. Further, James Madison St. John's last known address was with John King Chenoweth and Meg, AR. Does you family have any information as to his departure and approximate age when he departed - see 1880 Census, In the house of John King Chenoweth. Additionally, any information about Jane would be appreciated.

Judy, I am still reserching Sarah. I really
think that she is from my King family that
lived in Arkansas & in that area. I have checked
on Ancestry, there are a lot of trees, but no
one has parents listed for her. I will keep
looking and get back w/you.

Thank you for sharing you wonderful photos and history, I have a little different version when it comes to Andrew C Hampton and his children Flora & William T. Flora Viola and William Theodore Hampton as I have it were children to Mary Jane Franklin who was the daughter of David Franklin and Jane Conn Bilderback. Jane's second husband was Alex T Gray. I'd love to compare notes and family history as things get confusing to me when relatives marry inside the families so close.
Thank you again for all you do:)
Grandson of Flora Viola Hampton & William Young

Judy, would you happen to know who Sarah's
parents were? The reason I ask is, my grandmother's maiden name was King and they
lived in that area of Arkansas? Thanks for
any help. I'll do some checking on ancestry.

I first met him when he was monitoring the cafeteria at Central Middle School for a convention I was in charge of. That's when we figured out he knew my dad.

Thank You and I know Mom thought a lot of you all. God did not give me a mother and step-mother he blessed me with 2 mothers. I went to see her one weekend and she showed me the article about Pixie in the "Country Living" magazine I think it was. She was so proud. She told me that Pixie and I lived pretty close to each other. I live in Wakita, Oklahoma just south of the "border" lol. She was so lost without Dad and just really had no desire to live without him. I never seen two people more in love with each other than they were. I have saved Dad's page to my favorites as well as Mom's. I really enjoyed those pictures of her. I had not seen any of them before.

I am Neil's daughter. Was doing a little searching for family info online and came across Find a Grave. Everything was pretty accurate except we do not have a sister "Linda" Her name was Tina. If you got the info from Mozelle's obit, she called her niece Linda her daughter. Linda is a niece of Carl Hurley Sr.
