|Bio and Links|
I came across this website and decided it was a nice way to honor forever those loved ones who have crossed my path of life at some time whether family, friends, co-workers or their families. I have also included quite a bit of information on my family (Rake/Raike & McCane) as it becomes available for genealogy purposes.
If by adding any of your loved ones I have overstepped my bounds or upset you that is not my intent. If you do not like what I have done please let me know and I can delete the information.
Please use the edit button for sending any requests for corrections or transfer.
If you have other loved ones you would like for me to add just send me their information and I will be happy to do so for you.

What happened to the headstone photo of Susan Rake Bush memorial #52538273
Thank you for the Bio and links for this group of soldiers. I've updated all the records and have given you credit.
A year ago or so I tried to input their place of death, but couldn't make sense how the French political boundaries lined up with the F/G options...
Thanks again for all your efforts here.

Nice job on the Bedford Boys bio, Greg. I had the honor of visiting Bedford three years ago and paying respects to the graves of the Bedford fallen. I was a bit surprised at the time that no one had started memorials for them on find a grave. I always intended to write a bio, but never got to it. Thanks also for the pictures you posted for them, your efforts are appreciated.

Done. Thanks for letting me know. Must have double-clicked when I added it, but I usually check to make sure the photos uploaded, but I must have missed this one somehow.

Greg - I don't know if you know abou this new feature or not, but you can submit linking to parents and spouses through the "edit" tab now. Click on "Relationship (parent and spouse links)" and then you just input the memorial numbers and it will go to the memorial manager. Hope that helps.

FYI - I believe Mary Rake married William Fleming Jr in 1854. "Krissay" has a memorial for Mary A Fleming (#24690437) - also in Rake Cemetery that I believe is your Mary Rake. Her husband, William Fleming(#24690408)is also buried in Rake Cemetery though his wife is listed as Margaret J West Huntsman Fleming(#24690521) who was his 2nd wife. I hope this is helpful.

|Melani Gloria ||Miss My Dad .... EVERYDAY!|
This brought tears to my eyes, Greg.
I'm not sure, exactly why I chose to 'Google' my Dad's name, but when I did this site appeared. I couldn't help but smile when I read your name. It's been decades I believe since our paths crossed, I remember it vaguely. Hope you are doing well.
Thanks a million,
