Thanks for the excellent photos of the Boardman family gravestones at South Napoli Cemetery.
|Lynda Turbeville||RE: Thank you!|
You are most welcome.
I do not know if I am personally connected with A. Strickland and have no information on him. I have visited Woodlawn Cemetery to find the grave of a Confederate ancestor and was touched deeply by the Confederate section - all those young men who suffered greatly and were then buried so far from home.
I first sponsored the graves of the Columbus County, North Carolina (my home county) veterans and am now working on sponsoring other North Carolina graves.
Thank you for creating the grave site on Find A Grave.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for making the edit. I got the information from her son's (Walfred Benson) death certificate.

Thank you Chuck for transferring Alonzo's memorial into my care. I am proud to continue honoring my g-g-uncle Alonzo's contribution to our country.

I wonder if you might consider transferring James Munn's find a grave to me he was my 3rd great grandfather and I would like to add some info to his bio, that the doesn't have. Thank you Lesa Townsend

Ah OK! Someone had requested that pic for "infant" and I was surprised when I looked up the info at the office the parents weren't there. The only reason I made that much effort was because the office thought there was no marker there so I went back to tell her there was one. That is when she showed me the plot map that shows 2 individuals in that grave.

I am writing to let you know that the memorial you created for these 2 individuals is not correct. The marker that you took the picture of states infant twins OF James and Alice and not James and Alice themselves. You may want to eliminate these memorials as there is no record of them being buried at Woodlawn as well. I tried to use Joyce Tice's site to find out where they were buried but haven't had any luck.
