Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have moved back to Leon, Iowa in Decatur County. I will continue to work on Decatur County issues. My gggrandparents came to Iowa about 1849. They came to Leon after the Civil War. I enjoy delving into history of Decatur County and its families. I will gladly transfer control of any entry to someone involved with the various families. We have moved again to the Gernand Retirement Village in Strawberry Point, Iowa. Our location has changed, but not my appreciation for Find A Grave.

Strawberry Point Photo
Dear Clarence,

What a great surprise to open our mail today and find that you had taken the photos for us!

We thank you so much for helping fill in this piece of our family tree. We hope to either pay it back or pay it forward by finding a grave to photograph in our area!

Sincerely,

Russell Fuller

RE: Burns and Kinnear photos
Thank you for the other three photos. I do see how difficult they are to read, and wonder how you ever found them! It must have taken some searching. The pictures are excellent, and in spite of the difficulty in reading the markers I can see you have them all correct. Thank you for helping to memorialize these folks whose lives were too short, but whose descendents remember them with gratitude.

Burns and Kinnear photos
You started my day out on such a happy note! Thank you for the excellent photos of the grave markers for my 2nd great grandfather, Henry B. Burns, and for his grandmother, Keturrah Kinnear. My great grandmother, born 5 months after Burns' untimely death, was his only surviving offspring. She pioneered to Montana and Southern Alberta. You have given me back my Iowa roots. God bless you!
