I had no idea that they passed away in a motor vehicle accident. I just read the information on both the memorials. Thank you so much for creating and posting the bio information. Robert was a first cousin to my mother on his mother's Bartleson side.

James 'Willard' Mefford: FAG Memorial# 22797731

Dear J.L.:

In response to your request I have placed floral tributes on the memorials of your sisters. Today I sent edits for Willard's life years I'd like to inquire if you are related to Willard Mefford (see subject line), or other Mefford kin? If so, I'd very much like to collaborate with you on their lineage.

All the best,
George Paul

Thank You For The Tuskegee Airmen Memorial(s)

J. L. Cobb...thank you very much for transferring to me Find A Grave Tuskegee Airmen Memorial - Charles O'Banion 28856459.

I will be placing clickable links in said Memorial which will inform persons who view it that there is a web page linked to said Memorial which lists names of Tuskegee Airmen who have passed away, and, now, continue to watch over,
and, protect the U.S.A. as Members of "THE KNIGHT SHIFT...Hoorah!!!

Tuskegee Airmen Virtual Cemetery

Tuskegee Airmen Virtual Cemetery Manager

Further, I seek to build a complete Tuskegee Airmen Cemetery (Pilots & Ground Personnel) which will eventually contain thousands of Tuskegee Airmen. Therefore, if you have, or, know of, additional Tuskegee Airmen, please also let me know about them and transfer them (also, let your family, friends & associates know about this).

Once again, thanks very very much for your assistance.

I remain,

Sincerely yours,

Michael James Morton

Hi, J. L.,
The above # is for my gggrandmother, Mary Jane Tuttle Cobb.
In this memorial you stated she died in Iowa on July 30, 1914, but I cannot find any record of her dying there or any reason why she would be in IA (record of children living there)
Her husband, Robert, (Find A Grave#1103131946) in the Censuses of 1900 and 1910 was living with his son, Clayborn Cobb, and was listed as widowed; and the death record of Robert July 12, 1914 states he was widowed. Two of records here indicate she died before 1900 and 1910 and the third indicates she died before he did.
If you have proof of her death in IA, would you mind sharing it with me at skcook64@icloud.com.
If there is not a record would you please correct the Find A Grave record to death unknown?

Thank you,
Sandy Abner Cook

Alabama Cox Cobb
J.L., I owe you an explanation about the last message I left you.
I thought I was leaving a message for someone else who has worked getting the Cobb Cemetery information for Find a Grave.

Anyway, the Cobb Cemetery Alabama Cox Cobb was buried in was on the mountain where many of her husband's Ambers Cobb family were buried. Her son, Ishmael is also buried there.

It is now called Tuttle Branch Cemetery, being renamed by the gentleman that did the work.

I would like for you to put Alabama in that cemetery. I can also give you the names of all her children. Ambers was my great grandfather and my grandmother, Amanda Cobb gave me a wealth of information.
Sincerely,
Sandy Abner Cook

Ambers Cobb Death
Hello,
Thank you the work you have done on my families' cemetery. You have renamed it Tuttle Branch Cemetery in Tedders, Knox County, KY.

I know for a fact it was called the Cobb Cemetery aka Bam Cobb Cemetery because she was the last wife of Ambers Cobb.
Ambers' daughter, Amanda Cobb is my grandmother and I have heard her tell me the name of the cemetery where her mother(Nancy Sasser Cobb) and father, Ambers were buried along with her half brother, Matt Cobb and another brother, Herbert Cobb and half brother Ishmael Cobb along with her stepmother Alabama Cox Cobb.
My request, to you would be for you to add Ambers
Cobb to this cemetery. As well as her brother, Matt Cobb. Ambers was buried next to Nancy Sasser Cobb, but the exact spot of Matt's grave, I do not know.
I can give you their information if you would like.

It has been at least 8 years since I was there and because of the incline (and bad knees), I was unable to climb the mountain.
I also would like for you to think about adding a note attached to the new name and make others aware that it was also called Cobb Cemetery.
I await your reply.
You may contact me at skcook64@icloud.com

Sincerely,
Sandy Abner Cook
