"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever" (Psalm 23:1-6 NKJV).
I have been researching the Anderson, Carroll, Dunham, Quarry, Ramey, Sanders and Starnes families since 2004.
I must take the time to give God all the praise for allowing me to meet so many wonderful people via the Internet while researching our families. PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!

|Richard Brewer||Thomas (Jefferson) Amis|
Good evening. I write to say that CPT Thomas Amis whose gravestone is pictured, is not the same person as Thomas Jefferson Amis. Thomas Jefferson Amis was the grandson of CPT Thomas Amis (of Revolutionary War service) T. J. Amis is buried in the cemetery of the Ebbing and Flowing Springs Methodist Church, Rogersville, TN. The stone pictured was recently placed in the Amis family cemetery beside the CPT Thomas Amis house to mark the burial spot CPT Amis. There is no record of a middle name for CPT Thomas Amis. I am certain of this because my mother Anne Rorer Amis grew up in the Amis house, and I have seen the grave of Thomas Jefferson Amis. Hope this is helpful.

OK thank you Brenda
|Dwayne McKnight||Solomon Mitchell|
Hello my name is Dwayne McKnight I was searching around and noticed that you posted a memorial page on Solomon Mitchell buried in John Mitchell Family Cemetery.
You said Solomon was your 5 great grandfather. Well he is my 6 great grandfather as well and I was wondering if you know if there is a headstone for him?
|Evelyn||RE: Susan Fulton Cear French # 120833261|
You are very welcome. Albert P and Louisa French are my great grandparents. Since Albert and Susan had two children and the fact that their daughter married my great grand uncle Thomas Caudill I do have some information on my half grand uncle John R French and my half grand aunt Julia Ann French Caudill.
Will share the info about them if you would like it.

|Darrell McGraw||Anderson-Beckner genealogy|
Will you contact me concerning these families? I am trying to sort out the families from Carter and Washington counties in TN.
Darrell McGraw, Knoxville, TN
|Donna Brummett||The Carroll Twins|
I have a suggestion for you. I think these babies are not buried at Oak Hill but are buried at a another cemetery. The Death certificate list the place of buriel as the Old Kingsport. There is a cemetery in Kingsport known as the Old Kingsport Presbyterian Cemetery. Since I have not ran across them yet I suspect that the reason is because they are in this other cem. When I get a chance I will see if I am correct. Just thought you would be interested. I let you know if I find them.
|Lori Metayer||Thank You|
For all you hard work you put into the memorials you have created it is so awesome to be able to track some of my family back. Irene Clifton Widener and Isaac Andrew Widener were my mother's grandparents which would be my great grandparents and I have really enjoyed looking through the Clifton's side of things this morning! I know it takes a lot of work to get all this information together.
|Sharon Ingram||George Maxwell Lyons|
I have a very large book of the genealogy of Keeblers (various spellings, too). It has a reference to George Maxwell Lyons, born 3 Mar 1817, died 5 Aug 1860, and is buried in the New Providence Cemetery. There's no picture of his headstone in your record. But it has the dates different. Can you help me with this? His father is James Lyons, mother is Ann Maxwell. I am going back to look for them, now.
Thank you so much. I can't tell you how much I love all the help and appreciate all the hard work you put into this.
Ya know, after looking at your bio, I see you and I sure do have a LOT of the same surnames in our families! Maybe we can compare more notes. I was a Heckler, raised by Bledsoe and Mickler, married Baker, grandparents were from Wilsons and Winingers, etc. Sounds like we may have MUCH in common!
