I have recently found that I am a descendant of the Shoemakers, Henry Frank Shoemaker born in 1811 is my Great Grandfather, I am pleased to find so much info online and want to thank all of you for contributing. this is the wrong stone for him ... 1926-1996 on with his wife Ellen Sechrist...
He is the son of James and Mary Ferguson Hawthrone...

Thanks for the picture, I beleive this is an ancestor of mine. Looks worn off, did you do a rubbing to determine wording?
