I have changed my photo to this Phoebe Bird in honor of my Mother Phoebe Delois Predmore Rittenhouse. She did the family history for over 40 years and I have continued it for over 40 years also.|
I would not have had the information if she had not gotten me started. I quit for about ten years, but got into it lately on Find A Grave. I love the site. I have met so many helpful people.
Some of my family surnames are: Predmore, Rittenhouse, Stallings, Rogers, Swan and Peters for just a few.
My husband's family is Williams, Crowley, Sexton, Hughes, Clark and Penn.
Beautiful memories etched upon our hearts and souls will never be forgotten.
I am so sorry if I have not sent a thank you to you, or answered a question that you may have asked.
My computer crashed and I lost all of my email addresses and correspondence.
I am going to remove my email address here and only use the public message option. Those who have my email may also continue to use it for long messages.
Sorry about this. I have been very disappointed, because I enjoyed chatting with all of you.
If you are related I would be more than happy to transfer, if they are NOT my relatives. Always happy to see the memorials in the hands of relatives.
THIS IS A MUST: It makes it easier if you click on each memorial; go to the upper right hand corner and click Edit and then click on Suggest a correction or provide additional information and ask for the transfer showing your name, ID # and relationship.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY DUPLICATES ON FIND A GRAVE. THANK YOU.

Raymona.....I have been contacted by a group that is creating biographies for the sailors lost on the USS Arizona which includes Kenneth Robert Bickel. In my attempt to help provide information I took note of the alias for Frederick posted by you on his memorial. May I ask where you achieved knowledge of Frederick's alias? Thank you!
Hi Raymona, and thanks for getting back to me. As I read your message, I also still rather get a kick out of how I paid for my dad's gravestone, however it is one of those things, that I am pretty sure my mom ever quite came to terms with, even up until the day she died. But I suppose, that is not the only thing she seemed to have a problem with getting a grip about. Oh Well.
Anyway, my reason for writing today is, I am doing a lot of family research, and building my family tree. My problem is, I do not have any family pictures, or very few anyway, so I have decided, to put pictures of as many of my ancestors headstones as I can find as there profile pictures, and to be very honest, I can use as much help as I can get. If you would be interested in adding a pic, from time to time, I sure would appreciate it. you can find my Family tree on My Heritage.com and go to Sally Ruarks Family Tree. if you e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org I will be more then happy to send you the link. Thanks so much. S. Dalene

Dear Raymona, thank you so much about your kind word in regards to my dads, headstone. And there is a funny story behind it. When dad died, it seemed as though everyone was fighting over everything, and I was so heart broken over the loss of him. And a few months prior to his death, my dad, had come to wheat Ridge Colo, where my sister and I were with my mom. One day, we were sitting at a traffic light in front of the little memorial sales lot, and my dad headstone was sitting there on the corner. I looked at it, and stated to my dad, that if anything ever happened to him, I would get it for him. I remember he smiled very big, and said Thank You Sally. After his funeral, and we had gone back hone one day, I got on my bike and went to this memorial lot, and I ordered the it for him.; I decided what was to go on it, and I always found it strange that here I was a 14 year old kid ordering this headstone that needed to be transported over a 100 miles. but I did it. And I will admit it was fairly expensive for the time. When my mom found out, she was furious, and so were all my other family members. And honestly no one like it but my sister and myself. But it is not something I have ever regretted doing. I went to Kinball last summer, and was just as please with it, as the day I put it on my moms credit card. But my dad was a good man, and it does do him justice. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for searching for a headstone for Henry, memorial #47237415. I appreciate the time you took to do so. Perhaps make a notation on the memorial page that no headstone was found so others don't request a photo? Thank you again!

Do you have coordinates as to where she may be buried in Lakeside Cemetery in Herman, MN? My husband and I walked the whole cemetery and did not find a gravesite for her.
