|Katherine Parks||Lilli Hite's Grave|
Hi, I'm a descendant of Lilli Jane Couch Hite, and am very happy to find a picture of her grave! Do you know, is this description on the back of the headstone, where it mentions Jacob Hite as her husband? I just wanted to know for my records. Thanks! Katherine Couch Parks

Are you answering anybody's questions?
From my last message Christian Palmer his Find A Grave Memorial# 66662097.
|Gordon Springer||Beech Grove Cemetery|
My great-great-great grandfather Christian Palmer is buried at Beech Grove Cemetery, Huntington County, Indiana. Thank you for taking his cemetery picture and my other distant relation there, too.
My question is you stated on his Find A Grave Memorial, that he was a veteran of the War of 1812; I wonder what your source was for that. I can't find any records to back that up.
The other information you stated about his 1st and 2nd wife is correct, so is the information he was born in Washington County, Maryland. I wonder what your source was for all this information.

|Lee Ashmore||Harriet Ann Hopkins Shorett|
I added her to John B. Hopkins list of children
Looking for the mother of my William Henry Hopkins 1838 NY-1911 IA. His father was John Hopkins born NY or Canada. Possible siblings of William Henry are Cyrus, Richard, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hetta.
He's buried in Odebolt Cemetery, Sac Co., IA. Other surnames are Adams, Moore, Haddox, Horton, Linville, Bryant, Sharp, Shea, Humbert.
Family lore says our line includes RI Gov. Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785 but have yet to prove so I research any and all Hopkins.
What are your lines?
In your travels, if you just happen to find any person's grave with the first, middle, maiden or surname Hopkins that is not already posted on findagrave I would love to know about it and have it posted with a photo. Now there's a project for you!

|JeanND||Emma C Black # 29665124|
I was wondering if you would take another look at this memorial. The 1880 Census says Emma C. Black was the wife of George Black - not his daughter. I know George Black's 1st wife, Drusilla, is listed as dying in 1881. But when I look at her headstone, it looks like it 'could' be 1871?
Emma's birth year would be right on the 1880 Census - but it says she was born in Ohio...not New York. "Emma C & George W Black" were living in Albion, Noble, Indiana in 1880. This George was born 'abt 1808' according to the Census. So it seems likely to me these are the same people - but maybe you have better info? Emma appears again in Albion, Indiana in the 1900 Census as a widow.
From there I'm not sure...but there is a Emma Black (the widow of Geo W Black) living in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1922!
I'm not sure if you have access to information I don't have, or if the information on the memorial came through edits. Or maybe you don't remember.... I guess I just wanted to make you aware. If I'm wrong, I apologize.
