I grew up in Ohio but moved to the San Francisco bay area when I graduated high school in 1968. I lived there for the next 25 years. I was the assistant general manager of a hotel in San Francisco until we moved to the east coast in 1993. We have spent the last 10 years renovating a 235 year old stone house near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. We are finally almost finished and are looking forward to spending the next few years sitting on the porch!

A very nice tribute to the talented lady. Enjoy the Harpers Ferry experience. I am sure Stonewall Jackson liked the area.

RE: James Herbert Tower
No I did not know him. I am catalogging SS/FF cemetery and working with the cemetery district to make sure everyone is counted there.
Glad to know Shin is still alive.
Thank you for your help.

Saw that you are related to Jim Tower. There is a headstone next to his in the SS/FF cemetery. Is this Shin Tower person still alive? We have no dates on the headstone.
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Donna

Jim,

A special thanks for taking the picture of George Elwood's gravestone. I am trying to locate and photograph the gravesites of all the members of the 26th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. Sharpsburg, MD is a bit out off my range so I appreciate your help.

Thanks again,

Richard Caramagna

Jim, I am sure that the P. Callaghan is correct. The problem is that more than one of my sources are notoriously bad with spelling. I often have to go through combinations and spellings, but more often than not get where I am going. Many Thanks! Tony

Hi,
Thanks for adding the photos. Sometimes a bad photo is all we can get but a bad one is better than nothing.

Thanks
Stephanie
