|Don Sharp||George Clifton McCalmon|
I noticed that you created a memorial for George in the Herringville Cemetery. I located an online cemetery survey for Herringville and did not see George listed. Can you please share what proof you have for George being buried at Herringville. George's mother was a Sharp from Carroll County, GA ancestry. George's great grandfather, Hiram Sharp, Sr. is my 3X great grandfather. Many thanks!

I have put a couple of Howard or Robinett photos on the site.

If there isn't a photo of the headstone when I put Mahala's photo on then he didn't have a headstone when I surveyed the cemetery.
Call Magnolia Cemetery (who takes care of the four cemeteries around the main Magnolia Cemetery) Mr. H. F. Marston (251)208-7307. As long as you are family he will give you information.
He prefers mailing a request though but he should answer your call if he isn't busy.

I checked GenealogyBank.com for Mahala and James Williams but could not locate an obit.

Sorry, but Ms Colley's grave has no marker. She is buried in Section W4 Space 189. I posted a pic of where her grave is. Feel free to delete it if you prefer.

Pat, I added the date of death from her tombstone. I think it is automatically corrected by Find A Grave.

My great grandparents are buried there as well. They are Charles H Armstrong and Mary Jane Goodwin Armstrong. I have only been there one time but would love to go back. I love old cemeteries.

My name is Nelda Ruth Armstrong. I was named for Nelda Grace. My dad helped take care of her when she was sick. I was born in 1950. Interesting site.

|Rex Shelton Bull||Carpenters|
My grandmother was Flora Carpenter Shelton, daughter of Thomas Washington Carpenter and Antonette Flurry. I have tried locating information on Lavina Johnson. She and Thomas's father, John Carpenter, were married in Lincoln County Ga on Aug. 22, 1822. Have not been able to find her parents nor anything about her. Any information on The Sheltons, Downsetc from Marion County Alabama appreciated

Patricia, are you related to Williamson Harris, who lived near Iuka I think in the late 1800's? If so, I would like to know where he and other near relations are buried. Ballie Harris, who married a Linton, was one of his daughters.
June Harris (Mrs. Bobby Harris)
