Hi Brenda can you share with me how you are related to James and Rachel. I am as well, they are my G-G-G Grandparents through their youngest son Henry.
|Dana Ware||James & Rachel Peterson|
James & Rachel were my g-g-g-g grandparents. Do you know for sure they are buried in Statenville Cemetery? I have been there several times and can't find a trace of a grave site for them.
I see you list that they are your g-g-g grandparents, how are you realted?
|Anna S||Mayford McMahan|
I added the photo of Mayford McMahan's marker. His wife's marker is next to his, but there was no death date listed, so I didn't make a photo. I'd be happy to go back and do so if you want.

I saw your photo request, can't fill that because I am not near Batavia, but thought I would look and see if I could find any info on him.
Published in "The Times", Batavia, New York – exact date cut off – 1924
Peter Becker – The funeral of Peter Becker, a former well known Batavian, who died on Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emma Wheeler of Avon, was held in Batavia on Wednesday morning from St. Mary's church at 9:30 o'clock and burial took place in St. Joseph's cemetery. Mr. Becker, who was 87 years old, resided until a short time ago in Batavia since 1876. He was a molder by trade and came here with the Wiard Plow Company. When Mr. Becker came to America in 1866 he was on a voyage fourteen weeks. Cholera broke out on board ship and as he did not have the disease he was obliged to remain on deck constantly in order not to be exposed by those in the cabin. He joined the Batavia fire department in 1882, and at the time of his death was an exempt fireman. Mr. Becker is the father of thirteen children, nine of whom are living.

Disregard the note I sent in regards to Myrtle and Collins....'fraid I had a senior moment...lol I remember Collins and could have swore that Allen Joiner said that was his brother. Something was off somewhere...one day maybe I will learn what "Joiner" Collins comes from.
If you are the requestor I need Section# and Plot # to get Photo for you
