Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a genealogy nut. It does not matter how distantly related you are, I want to know you on paper (technically, on computer). Most of my contributions are family but a few are not; they were photos requested from out-of-state family members through another site and I decided to add them here as well.

If everything I've found is accurate, I recently learned I'm related to many well known persons in history through my dad's side, including King Henry I of England, King Henry II of England, King Richard the Lionheart of England, King Louis IV of France, Charlemagne, Sir Rhys ap Thomas, K.G., and Ferreolus of Rome; also less widely known people of history, including Johns Hopkins and John Crepps Wcikliffe Beckham just to name a few.

My photos of headstones may be used by other family members or those who maintain cemetery listings on another site. Photos that are not of headstones may be used by family members for personal use, such as use at home or a family genealogy site (of which I would appreciate a link so I can view it). I doubt it would happen, but please do not use photos for commercial use, monetary gain, ect. and all that jazz.

Photos I use from PACT are used with the understanding that we are allowed to use them for our genealogy as long as we aren't selling them, according to information provided by the Photograph Andrew County Tombstones (PACT) Project.

Marie Evelyn Walker Brewer
It seems that we are probably cousins-in-law of some degree, as Marie was a third cousin of my grandmother in the Wright line. Any details for their family will be great additions to have for my Wright Family spreadsheet.

Combs in Missouri
I have tried to contact you many times to get some information corrected on the family of R.K. Combs and Sarah Chism Combs. Because I have received no response, I am including the information here.

The woman you have listed as Sarah Lawson Chism Combs has many mistakes on her memorial.

First, her middle name has never been documented as Lawson or anything else. Her step-son, Hugh's middle name was Lawson, but it is currently believed that he was given the maiden name of his mother, who was NOT Sarah (aka Sallie). Secondly, the mother of Hugh, Owen and Elliott Combs was R.K.'s first wife who allegedly died in childbirth with Elliott, according to family legends from Kentucky. Sallie's first child was Henrietta B. Combs Crowder, who was born in 1845.

I hope you will eventually see this and correct the mistakes. I can and will, upon request, document everything I have proof of in order to keep from misleading people. If you have proof of Sallie's middle name being Lawson, please share what the proof is so I can correct my own records.

Thanks,
Jeni Mitchell

RE: Transfer or Removal Request
I am respectfully requesting the transfer or removal of Rosina Jemima Shaumeyer Gier (6965064) and her father, Albert George Shaumeyer Sr (6965067) as they are my grandpa's sister and father. I mention removal because 5yrs ago I accidentally duplicated the listings having overlooked the ones you already had. (Yeah, that was stupid on my part and I admit it).

I really don't want to delete the entries at this point due to this being one of my first attempts at documenting markers. At this point in my hobby I was numbering up there in the 30's & 40's of transcriptions. This was one of my first pictures taken with my new, now old, digital camera.

Nancy J Shadowens
I am searching for a photo of Nancy Jane Shadowens, wife of Asaberry barton Rector, that you added to the site. I provided a photo of her gravestone, but have never been able to find and image of her, herself. I am her direct descendant and would love to know what she looked like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oma Meals
Hi,
Obit added and transfer made.
Could you remove the 2 lines under the obit, that I had added.? It is 2 lines and it says:
Note: Hard to read, but looks like it says "Daughter of Irvin Meals".
I didn't notice it before I transferred the memorial.
Thanks!!!!!

Stella & Flossie
I added Stella's parents, and transferred her and Flossie to you.
Great that you can add Stella to your family tree.
Do you know if Stella and Flossie are related? Flossie's husband must have married again, and be buried by his 2nd wife. Interesting!!

RE: Rufus K (James W) Combs & Pearl Barton headstones
You are welcome. We enjoy walking the cemeteries.
Part of Hickory Grove was mowed, around the newer graves, but most was not. It is a big job, though. Maybe in the winter would be the best time to go, when the creepy crawlies are hibernating.
I'am so glad I was able to find the ones that I did for you.
