|David J. Rutledge||Captain John Jenkins|
I am the great great grandson of Capt John Jenkins of Edisto Island through his son General Micah Jenkins. You have included a photographic copy of the portrait I own of Capt. Jenkins, which is in my living room.
I thank you very much for making this posting, but I respectfully hope that you will consider two errors. First, there is no proof that "May" was his middle name. I have never seen any documentation to support this middle name. I you have any I will stand corrected. Second, his death date is 1854 not 1856. This is supported by his probate records. The definitive work on his genealogy is Capt. John Jenkins and Most of his Descendants" which was published by Robert F. Jenkins, Jr. in l967 does not list his name as John May and lists the correct date of 1854. I would respectfully ask you to make these two corrections: remove May from his name and also change his death date of 1854.

|LARRY DILLARD||RE: Lizzie Dillard|
I would appreciate it very much. I will then take pictures of my other kin and post them. Thanks for the picture and effort you have already exhausted. I was also curious about the SFC (military)? If so thanks too for that commitment.
|LARRY DILLARD||Lizzie Dillard|
Lizzie is my ggrandmother on my father's side. How are you kin?
|Patricia Farmer||David H. Speegle|
David H. Speegle was the son of David Speegle 28672958 and Winifred Cranford Speegle 32193902, not the son of Absalom and Patsy Cranford Speegle.
David K. Speegle, born in about 1834, was the son of Absolum and Patsy.
I have placed my book titled "Killebrew Cemetery,"
Is this book published & on the market or is it a personal book we would need to come see?? Thanks for your time.
|Rol Morris||Richard Shrope|
My Great great Grandfather was Richard's brother Andrew Jackson Shrope. Thank you for the useful information on both in your FINDAGRAVE note.
Would you be able to connect me to other family members who I could share information, photos, etc with? The brothers' lives in Arizona are,so far, quite unknown to me.
I'd appreciate any leads you could provide. Many thanks and all the best, Rol Morris
|Mark Wilson||PLEZE LEMAY|

|Patricia Beavers||Grant Mullens|

|Karen Damjanovic||Henry Andrews|
Al & I drove to Stillwater Cemetery Jan 20, 2015 in an attempt to get requested picture. We were unable to find a marker with the name Henry Andrews. There is a marker as "FATHER" but no name or date.
Last summer I researched records at Orchard Congregational Church where the records from the Stillwater Church are kept. I did find out the Stillwater Cemetery was originally for three country churches but was unable to find records for the cemetery.
