|Montague Cem. Comm.||John Taft|
The Taft Family Association has this John Taft b 3 Feb 1795 Worcester, Worcester, MA (VR Heath 59) s/o Josiah David and Lucinda (Harrington) Taft. He married (1) in Jan 1823 Arethusa "Thucy" Gould in Heath, Franklin, MA (VR 105). Arethusa Gould, d/o Eli and Bernice (Johnson) Gould, was born 11 Oct 1794 in Heath, MA and died 29 Apr 1868 in Caroline Center, Tompkins, NY. He married (2) Sarah -- who died 9 Dec 1876 in Cicero, Onondaga, NY. (Find A Grave 30290036)
This gravesite lists the death of John Taft as 15 Oct 1876 Caroline Center, NY; however Find A Grave 30290032 has his death as 15 Nov 1876 in the Taft Settlement Cemetery, Cicero, NY. Was he actually buried here; or was his name on the obelisk but he was actually buried in the Taft Settlement Cemetery? Does anyone know?
|coan.net||Matthews in Floral Hill Cemetery|
Hello - Just got done fulfilling the photo request for Mary Matthews in Floral Hill Cemetery in Iroquois County Illinois.
Her plot is unmarked. I believe there are 6-8 graves in each lot. There are 3 stones (to left of picture) for a "Reese" family. I believe the Matthews graves are on the right side of the picture, and are unmarked.
The records show 2 other Matthews in the same lot (Block 2, Lot 252)
John Matthews d. Jan 11, 1919
Viola J. Matthews d. Dec 26, 1921
These are also unmarked - I don't believe they have memorials on Find A Grave yet, so feel free to add them if you want. Feel free to request pictures if you would like me to add the same pictures to them 2 also.

|judyr||Vandorous & Dianna Martin|
Annette, Your photos of Vandorous Martin and Dianna Beaman Martin made my day! I have been searching for information about them. They are my 3rd great grandparents. My grandparents had a fire years ago and all family photos were destroyed. I am doing genealogy search for information and am stuck on their daughter, Hortensey. I have a marriage certificate for Hortensey and George W. Martin in Mason County, IL in 1872. I am stuck on his ancestors. Am wondering if your source for photos for Vandorous would have family information that would help.
Thanks for the wonderful additions you have made.

|Roberta||Sunny Side Cemetery|
Today was an ok day so I took a ride to Sunny Side Cemetery and there they were. Sugar Hill Cemetery does not exist. All nine people are in Sunny Side with the exception ,Ralph Levi Whipple, he was already in Sunny Side with a picture. I looked on the web site on how to fix this and they said to send you this e-mail and you will have to put in a correction to transfer all (8) over to Sunny Side.
If I can be of any help, please let me know.

|Roberta||RE: Sugar Hill Cemetery|
Hello again, This has really got me thinking. The only cemetery in Sugar Hill I know of is Sunny Side right on Main Street. I looked it up and there are about 9 Whipples buried there. It's not a small cemetery; but, not overly big either and I think most from Sugar Hill are in there. With Olive Whipple passing in 2002, if she was buried in Sugar Hill, she and the others must be in there. I will take a look this week and let you know. They might all be in there. If I can find Olives obituary, I'm sure it would name the cemetery. Thursday and Friday will be nice up here and I will go. I am really close to there; but, the weather has been sleeting. I am trying to do as many as possible before the bad weather really hits. I will find them.

Looking at your photo requests for the Sugar Hill Cemetery and wondering where it is. I have been all over Sugar Hill and cannot find it.
What town is it in and on what street. I guess it must be called Sugar Hill and not really in that town. If you let me know where it is I will be glad to take the photos for you.

|Gloria Kidder||Rebecca Kersey Lytle Creek|
I have had several requests for Rebecca Kersey at Lytle Creek Cemetery. There is a field with a circle of the stones that are left in this cemetery. Rebecca is NOT one of them. Out of the 80 some stones there are about 30 left that have not been destroyed. I can assure you she is buried there but the markers are gone.
