1. Edits and other changes.
I am usually delighted to process your edits or suggested corrections. However I will neither do your data entry nor edit your spelling and punctuation. If information can be entered in specific fields, you will need to do that through the new edit system and I will accept or decline it. Other suggested changes such as biographies or requests for transfers will be honored via the "Suggest any other correction or addition" which sends me an Email with a link to the page and to you. I might fact check your information through resources available to me.
I will transfer any memorial I have created on request except those for
a. my own ancestors or in my virtual cemeteries.
b. Nor will I transfer to anyone who is listed as "Anonymous" and has a blank profile. It is difficult to trust someone who is so concealed.
c. Nor will I transfer to the terminally rude unless you document the four generation proximity of relationship required by the FAQ.
I give explicit permission to copy and use any photo I have taken and posted on Find a Grave for your own genealogical purposes. No need to ask.
I am a retired Episcopal priest who has done genealogical work for her own family since 1990. I used to serve as a Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness volunteer for Cottonwood County before that site closed. I'm still willing to do lookups. This is easy to do, as I live within a mile of the Courthouse and Historical Society. Or you can contact the Historical Society at firstname.lastname@example.org. They charge $10. per hour plus copying for research.
I am nearly done doing whole small cemeteries in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. The five of us working on that have finished all but the two city cemeteries. If I have been able to post a photo on the front page of a cemetery in CC you will find my status notes in the caption. [Feb 2013] Working on Mountain Lake from photos & register and Lakeview from a list. I am also working on comprehensive postings for columbaria in Minnesota Episcopal churches.
My daughter thought graving was a waste of time but I pointed out that it gets me out for a walk up and down "rows" in the cemetery. And a friend of hers pointed out that considering all the recent zombie movies it's good to remember this: It is far better to be looking for dead people than to have dead people looking for you! Enjoy!

With all your information,I definitely think the memorial should be yours & I have deleted my memorial. If you would like any of my memorials from this cemetery, just ask. As we were driving by the cemetery I just made a quick stop & randomly took a few photos (no special interest or knowledge of the people buried there)...so if you are doing research & have access to church records I would be glad to do any transfer to you.

I would guess that the dates are birth and death.
I couldn't find him on https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/search which would indicate he was born less than 80 years ago. I looked on Ancestry and it shows him on the electoral roles for 1969 and 1972. In 1969 he was listed as a theological student. In 1972 he was a clerk in holy orders.
I will check the cemetery in the new year to he see if they have added anything for Evan.

May I use the photo's that you contributed to the Find A Grave Memorial for Dr. Charles Kellam, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
|Mary Ann Van Horssen||RE: Mathilda Schaffer|
I can't thank you enough for your help with the Schaffer and Earlewine families. I must say I am surprised Joe and Mathilda Schaffer do not have headstones. I visited with the Schaffer's in Windom several years ago and they took me to all the cemeteries and were very proud of their history, even producing a 1-inch thick book of their ancestors - one of which they gave me. Since Joe is in D-16 and Mathilda is in D-6, it appears they are not buried together or next to each other.
I have installed new ancestor stones in New York, PA, Ohio, and Hayfield, MN. What is Lakeview's position on doing this?
By the way, my husband's father is the grandson of Joe & Mathilda through their daughter Mabel. He remembers well his Schaffer & Earlewine cousins who he played with as a child. He is 99 years old and still kicking in Arizona!

Wow, you are fast... Already done. Thank you
|Mary Ann Van Horssen||Mathilda Mary Schaffer|
I finally took the time to enter Mathilda in FindAGrave #167498244 for Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
I also sponsored Clarence Schaffer and wife Margaret and daughter Ellen in Lakeview.
And I sponsored Clyde Schaffer and wife Emma in Windom Memorial Gardens.
Also in Memorial Gardens is Donald Earlewine who I sponsored, but I can't find his Father Frederic Earlewine 1886-1950 and his mother Ada Schaffer Earlewine 1886-1961. They died in Windom.
Sons Willard 1915-1978 and John 1927-2013 should also be buried in Windom.
I haven't had a chance to go to the Find A Grave site and request transfers for those I sponsored.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
