William E. "Bill" Robinson
Turney Buck Ashley @ Trinity Cemetery
His Death Certificate is wrong. His father was Henry Ashley, but Millie Farmer was his grandmother. She was Henry's Mother. Thank you for your research and all you have done for this site.

RE: Duplicate Record
Mrs. Forrest,

When I was at the Crockett Co. Court House the first time in about 1994 they introduced me to and I met with Mrs. Jean North, retired county clerk I believe. She took me to the Lima Cemetery and provided me with plat information for JD Carta and his grandpartents whose markers are now missing. The Lima entrance at that time was much larger than it appears today. I dont remember the adjancent Cedar Hill entrance at all which is more prominent now. To acces the gravesite you still enter the Lima gate and proceed almost all the way to the end and on the right the tombstone stands. I will call the Crockett county Historical commision tomorrow to confirm, and then make edits if necessary. They list it as the adjacent cemetery Cedar Hill. I'm not sure how you determine the boundaries. If you have additional information it would be much appreciated. Thank You for your response this time.

RE: Duplicate Record
I know the tombstone as it is very uique. I visited it several times over the years. The most recent visits I noticed the front or entrance of the cemetery has gone through a transformation or has changed. I have the pictures to prove it. Perhaps it has changed names or there are two ceneteries there at that spot. If so I can edit my memorial page. I gurantee you there are not Two JD Cartas in in that county or adjacents counties with a home made tombstone with shells inlade for the lettering. The last name Carta is rare enoungh as it is.

You have duplicated a record of my grandmother's brother, JD Carta. Please delete the memorial.

Your suggestion for Harriet Jourdan memorial
I got an email thru Find A Grave stating that you had a suggestion for the Harriet Jourdan memorial. However, there was no info in the email and no attachment either. Please re-send with info you would like to revise or add.

Erwin Kriegel
Hi Nona,
I got your message about the Kriegel Family in Giddings Cemetery. Erwin and Leonard are brothers and they are sons of Gus (Karl Gustav - Memorial# 31337859). Ernst Kriegel is their uncle. My great-grandfather was another brother of Gus and Ernst. Hope that clears things up. ;-)

Anna Phifer
I was unable to locate Anna's grave to take a pic for you. There were some leaves on the ground but I don't think there was enough to completely cover any grave stones. The grave stones in this cemetery are in very bad shape.

Clemie Denning
Alice Rouswell Stinnett is not a sibling of Clemie Denning - she is an aunt. Alice was the sister to John Allen Rouswell (Clemie's father).

Thanks for the correction - Clemie's daughter.

RE: Hi Deb
"Fox Cemetery Platte City, Missouri" Yes, my info came from an old transcription of the cemetery. I think it was DAR, but cannot find it not. I feel confident there were stones at some point, hopefully just buried and could be uncovered???
