Bio Photo I think it was my destiny to do family research as my grandmother lived down the street from our family cemetery, so I grew up playing in that cemetery with my cousins. After her death my sister and I started researching our family history and have been at it for approximately 21 years.

It is exciting when you find that one piece that was missing. It is a rush like nothing else, and is very addictive. I am currently working on 7 different trees for other family members.

I have taken my daughters and grandchildren with me to research cemeteries for that one lost relative, and we have been some places... well let's just say that we have memories we will never forget.

I appreciate your efforts on trying to locate and get a photo of his headstone. If you have the section/plot information I would like to note it in my records and will request it be noted on his online memorial as well. Thanks again!

Grave Marker Photo
Hi jherstein,

Thanks for the excellent grave marker photo of Levi Dixon and his daugher Sallie W Dixon.

Levi's wife was Louise Frances Lockett Dixon, not Sallie W Dixon, whose grave marker shows that Sallie was born in 1877 and died in 1881.

Please correct your note when you click on the grave marker photo.

Also, wo you know if Louise Frances Lockett Dixon is buried in the Deepwood Cemetery?

Thanks again and best regards,
Jack Mitchell
