Carlton Monroe Henson Jr
Dear GA Firefighter
I have come across the memorial plaque for Carlton Monroe Henson Jr -"buried at Ennis Co Clare Ireland" - that you have placed on Findagrave on 4/12/2014 .
I live in Ennis Co Clare Ireland myself and wrote a book on the tragic Pan American Airways "Empress of the Skies" accident on 15 April 1948 at nearby Shannon Airport which lead to so many being buried far from home. Titled "From a Rock to a Hard Place", it was published last year by the Clare Roots Society of Ennis IRE in April 2013 to commemorate the 65th anniversary and is now sold out. Quite a lot can be found by Googling Pan Am crash Shannon 1948 or Drumcliffe or any of the associated names and a fine photograph of the large grave headstone is on-line.
I would like to learn more about the memorial plague that you photographed, where it is located and who was behind the placing of this wonderful memorial.
66+ years on and we still have people flying over to visit their loved ancestors and indeed tomorrow I am meeting a grandson from the USA coming especially, whom has never been to Ireland before.
I look forward to hearing from you. Tony Cassidy

Hello,
I noticed that a correction needed to be made to this information. Thaddeus Berrien Akridge was born 04 Feb 1839 in Farmington, Clarke Co., Georgia and died 19 Sept 1879 in Social Circle, Walton Co., Georgia. I have his obituary and pictures. He was my 3rd great grandfather. I also created a Find-a-Grave memorial for his wife Sarah "Sallie" Jane Gibbs. Find A Grave Memorial# 83599766
Thank you,
L. Dawn Crumley

F.M. Huston
Hello John, Thanks for all your hard work on this site. I visited Shoals Creek Cemetery a couple weeks ago, looking for my Breedlove kin, and later found muster roll info on Pvt. Huston at the following website:
http://www.generalbartonandstovall.com/42_co_h.html
Have suggested an addition of his date of birth, which may or may not be accurate.
Cheers!

I found this one today. Are you the one that created the cemetery page? Can you add something to the directions? PRIVATE PROPERTY--THERE IS A LARGE GUARD DOG RUNNING LOOSE!!!!
If you can do that, please and thank you. If not, do you know who can?
I'll post the pictures now.

Did you have a memorial for this person at Center Hill Baptist Church (Walton)? I had another Find A Grave member tell me that I had him in the wrong cemetery as there was a duplicate. I was on vacation and looked at the other one briefly, and I thought I saw your photo and memorial. Just curious. Thanks Joyce
