Just wanted to thank you for the info on Warner Goodenough. I did link him to his wife Mabel Bonnett. I also added a photo on all three memorials.
(In researching her discovered the very sad story of her sister Kate Frye. There was an article in the Caledonian about her murder).
Reminds you that these are more than just headstones that I photograph...a thousand stones and a thousand stories.

Good morning, Helen! I am back cleaning up documentation and checking for new information on the Kinne family and love to run across your work! I want to link Jefferson Kinne and Phebe Jane Hunkins with their children. There are Find A Grave sites for all except the first Hiram who died as an infant. Please link Hiram Jasper with them for me! Thanks in advance

Try SNOWS - they are more closely related. Thx.
|Chris||RE: Cornelius John Korstange|
I didn't create the memorials for Cornelius and Jane (I'm a Korstange but VERY distantly related). Looking at the Grand Rapids burial records it lists the 2003 date and so does the SSDI. This doesn't mean the right Jane is linked to him, although she's buried in the same block and lot so it's unlikely it's not her. Perhaps the burial record is incorrect? Did he have a 2nd wife?
On an unrelated note - I went to school with one of Cornelius' grandchildren and was told that they grew up in the very same house my grandfather grew up in during the late 1920s - very small world considering my family tree maker says we are half 7th cousins, 1x removed!

HI Helen, they were my great grand parents , my fathers grandparents, his mothers parents. their only marriage was to each other and a long marriage it was. Anna is one of many Hunkins which I was able to meet & get to know many of them. I was very close with my great grandparents & lived with my gamma for some time. in 1993 I had a son and she became a great great grandmother before her death 1994. The week before thanksgiving, she went in for a surgery and came out of it fine , then the doctor came out and said no there is complications and she didn't make it. Very sad day in the waiting room. I miss them both so much and the stories of my memories are like yesterday. We did share a birthday December 14th which this year is the 20th anniversary of her passing. What would you like to know? & sorry, I have not logged into this site for quite sometime. Email me anytime I look forward to connecting with you.
