I am interested in this person that you had requested a photo of. Do you have this grave listed?
I have a relative by the name of Alexander O'Neil who was married to Emma Barton. I am looking for info on him, and can not find him on here.
|Carolyn Obertein||Brazella Foor|
If you can give me your email address I can send a couple more pages of Brazella Foor's military record. I am limited to 5 pages on Find A Grave.

That is the information I written on Brazella from his record. Did we already contact one another? I don't see you on my record of people I have contacted.
I will add some of his military record to his webpage for you. There are about 50 pages so I will just add the few that would be specific to him and his family.

Also could you please transfer his grave to me?

I was in Pottsville today and looked for this grave to take a photo. Unfortunately, I could not find it. That cemetery is in very bad shape with more than half the stones overturned and many other unreadable. I left the request open - maybe someone else will be able to locate it? Sorry!

I translated what I could. Some of the Cyrillic is difficult to see.
BTW-Great job at that cemetery.

I transcribed the stone with Julia Paslawsky 1914-1914 and created entries for the rest of the children listed on that stone.

Joe, I appreciate your setting up this memorial for Dennis Brislen. Just to add to your info, Dennis Brislen was the son of Timothy Brislen and Mary (Erskine) Brislen. He was born in Carbon County Pennsylvania in 1837. He died on April 1, 1865 in the Battle of Gravelly Run in Gravelly Run, Dinwiddie, Virginia.
He was the brother of Mary (Breslin) Shovlin, Bridget Breslin, Robert Breslin and Giles Breslin.
I am researching the Breslin family line as part of the Bernard Shovlin family line who lived in Carbon and Schuylkill County Pennsylvania. Bernard was married to Mary Breslin, Dennis' sister.
Great job on establishing the memorial, even if Dennis was moved to the Poplar Grove National Cemetery, near where he died. I am also contacting them to offer the information.
