i AM not related to him either, but am trying real hard to put a book of history of the Regiments SOLDIERS together, and any LIFE I can find on them I think would be wonderful.
If you would not mind transferring him to me that would be easier for me to get his life on it...
The reason for the book, my g-g-grampa Morrison M Lee was in the regiment, and died. You can read his bio under that name, if you like.
Thank you so very much and yes I will need all the luck and any help anyone can give will be appreciated.

|Gaye Hill||Richard David Owens|
Hello A Jones Girl,
Thank you for the transfer of Richard David Owens. I have added quite a bit of material and made several links, thank you also for so quickly making the Edits.
It might be that these Owen/Owens will be related by marriage, but should you want me to transfer back to you in the future, just let me know.
I appreciate your willingness to go past the Find A Grave family transfer rules, while researching, I find so many noteworthy obituaries with family information, it seems mean to pass them up and not add them to memorials.
Once again, thank you.
|Bill Knarr||Carson Polston|
Thank you for the information on Carson Polston. I have added to his site.
|Robin Upchurch||Drury G Upchurch #94692165|
Drury and Jane were my husbands great grandparents.
I did do quite a bit of research on the Dishmans. It seems that everybody wants to spell Dishman their own way. I studied very hard and came up with 'DishmOn' being the correct spelling for this branch, just to be corrected later with the Dishman spelling. At least I'm not alone on the different spellings. As long as we all know who we're talking about, I suppose it's safe. Funny in a way.
I love find a grave! I do find that even some of the headstones can be wrong though. Not too often, but it happens! Thanks for the shout out and offer. I will probably need your assistance!
