By all means James, appreciate any and all photos. Grass in the location beats nothing at all, IMHO ;) And why not get some credit for your time too! Thanks for all you do.. and wonderfully done!

Akins Mountain Cemetery
To find the Akins Mountain Cemetery and the grave of Barbara Akins Hudgins Clark, leave Jasper, Georgia on Old Highway 5 by the Old Jail. Take right on Lumber Co. Road. Go approximately one mile. Pass Arbor Hills subdivision. Pass house # 956. Cemetery on left on top of embankment.

Take you a golf club or something cause when I was there last (March 2000) I was approached by a Rottweiler dog that lived up the street further.

No, he has no May relatives buried there, not that I know of. Thank you for asking though.

RE: Okolona Cemetery, Okolona, Mississippi
Evening James...sorry i have not answered you sooner....i have just got home from the ER>...Dr. are thinking my MS is acting up.....been about 4 years since it acted up before.....have not slept in over 24 hours and they even gave me some morphine and valium lol......and still going strong lol.......but muscles are feeling better.........

Anyway.......i called the other person that helped me so much in Chickasaw County to get some many of the grave pictures.....she told me to tell you all is not lost.......But to take and add any info into the edit tab of our memorials and also add your picture to our memorials.....that way maybe not all you have done would really go to waste.........

NOW for the other thing.......the Okolona Confederate Cemetery..that cemetery is not individual graves....it is one mass grave from what i am told....they not only had a battle out at prarie mount northwest of okolona...But they also had one there in okolona and also had a hospital there in the town too and that was where they buried everyone. the Blues and the Grays..

And also do when you get a chance.....i have a nephew that lives in san marcos so i know how that is about the rain out there...

Thanks for answering me back and not taking what i said in the wrong way...cuz i didnt mean it in any mean way...Thanks again

Barbara
