Arthur Kinlaw Jr.
Arthur Kinlaw Jr., 70, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at the Waycross Health and Rehabilitation Center, following an extended illness.
Mr. Kinlaw was born Feb. 3, 1937, in Clinch County to the late Arthur Kinlaw Sr., and Minnie McCutchin Kinlaw. He attended the Clinch County Schools, was a loving husband and father and was well known to the public. He was a member of the Prayer Garden Church of God in Christ, had worked in a saw mill in the 1970s and retired from B-way in 1999, as a seam welder for 35 years. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Mae "Dora" Alexander and Alma Jones; two brothers-in-law, Robert Vince and Monroe Holloway.
Survivors are his loving wife of 43 years, Martha Lee Kinlaw, Homerville; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Tyrone Kinlaw, Homerville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Ann Graddy, Greg Kinlaw, all of Homerville, Tracy and Eva Kinlaw, Providence R.I.; a son he reared, Dennis and CeCe Grant, Oceanside Calif.; 11 grandchildren, Quentin Kinlaw, Eugene Kinlaw, Shanta Kinlaw, Shonta Kinlaw, Brandon Grady, Meshauna Kinlaw, Darius Kinlaw, all of Homerville, Lagregory Kinlaw, Jacksonville, N.C., Alassondra Kinlaw, Corey Nicole Kinlaw, Providence R.I., and Treyondous Baynard, Valdosta; one great-granddaughter, Bre'Nyah Smith, Homerville; four sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Johnson, Argyle, Annie Ruth Vince, Homerville, Mittie Bell and Sam Mackey, Ocala, Fla., and Maxine Holloway, Homerville; three brothers-in-law and wives, John L. and Lucille Lewis, Macon, James Lee, Plains, Charles and Bertha Lee, Homerville; six sisters-in-law and husbands, Mary and Howard Calhoun, Rebecca and Jerry Jackson, Rachel and John Jackson, Janie Ruth Roberts, Pricilla and John Townsend, all of Homerville, Willie Mae and Johnny Tyson, Fort Walton, Fla.; a very special nephew and wife, David and Georgia Calhoun, Waycross; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Kinlaw will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Prayer Garden Church of God in Christ. Interment will be in Holmes Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net. — Roundtree Funeral Home, Homerville

Thank you so VERY much for taking a photo of his marker and posting it here. He was my mother's grandfather and she has very vague memories of him. As we live in NC, she has never been able to go visit his grave....thank you! Thank you!
