Thanks for posting the article "Another Pioneer Gone" on James Prather's memorial #8006560. It provides a great deal of documentation on early Jackson County. May I ask the source?

There was a small error in the article as well.
In the third paragraph from the end, it says he survived carcinoma cancer. This is incorrect. It was sarcoma cancer. There was a correction published in the paper also.

The memorial posted is an article written by Josephine Foster published in the Martinsville Reporter Friday June 28, 1996.

The posted memorial is missing a few words. I have the article in front of me.

Near the middle a paragraph starts, "Bob lost his..." The sentence should read, "Bob lost his beloved wife to death in January 1995."

In the last paragraph of the article it starts "This, I feel, proves Bob Wooden is..." It should read, "This, I feel, proves Bob Wooden is certainly a survivor and he is also a well respected resident of the Monrovia Community and surrounding areas."

I couldn't figure out where you came up with the wedding picture. Then it hit me and I remembered the article.
