|Family history is a passion of mine. Knowing more about our ancestors and then locating their graves helps complete the story of one's life. For the last 15 years I have researched my own family history. I truly appreciate the service and time of strangers that have photographed my ancestors graves, homes and shared personal photos. In return, I have chosen to help others in their own pursuits of information especially with locating graves of loved ones. Cemeteries are exquisite places full of love and sorrow. As I photograph graves for others, I feel more closely connected to humanity.|

|firstname.lastname@example.org||RE: Dalton Grave in Southview Cemetery|
Thank you so much for getting back to me. Please let me know if you find the original information. The cemetery office in North Adams was not much help, but at least I now know the probable location of where the baby was buried. I wondered when your family members were in North Adams. My Daltons came there in 1893 and a few were there until the 1970s. My mother graduated from Drury High School in 1929. My siblings and I did not grow up there, just visited. Thanks again for the memorial and for trying to help me.

In 2015 you posted a memorial for an infant buried in Southview Cemetery on Church Street in North Adams, MA. The name is "Infant Daughter Dalton" who was born and died in 1899 at 2 days old. You said she was the daughter of Richard and Mary Ellen Dalton. I have just been to North Adams and visited Southview to see other Dalton graves of my relatives. Richard Dalton was my Great Uncle and his family members would like to visit this grave. The cemetery office in North Adams told me they don't have a record of the grave. All they had was a possible Dalton infant son buried in the "free" Section A. This section is located near the maintenance shed for the cemetery. We looked there, but could find no grave for our Dalton infant in that section. I'm hoping you can help our family locate the headstone. Do you have a record of where you found it? Thank you so much for your help and I look forward to hearing from you. Emily West

If you look her up, you will see she lived in Ellicottille. She was in a nursing home in Allegany, NY. That is where she died in 1978. Josie never spoke after she went to the nursing home. How do I know that? My best friend worked, in the kitchen of the nursing home. Cathty told me about Josie and we were 20 miles from her house, in Ellicottville. It was the house, next door, to the house where I lived until my Mother abandoned 8 children.

I lived next door to Charles or Charlie Zeltwanger in the 1960's. He and Josie lived at 37 Elizabeth Street in Ellicottville. Charlie died in 1967 when I was, still six years old, I remember. I do research and believe he was the same Charles you are looking for. He is listed as being buried with Jennie. Josie was a later wife, they were my old my neighbors. Josie is buried at Sunset Hill Cemetery, in Ellicottville, Cattaraugus County, NY.

I saw today that you had added a memorial for "Infant Daughter" Dalton in Southview Cemetery in North Adams, MA. It is Memorial# 142717375. First, I wondered if you were any relation to this child and second, I wanted to thank you for doing this. This precious infant was the daughter of my great Uncle Richard and his wife Mary Ellen. Richard's brother, John Dalton, was my great Grandpa John and he and his wife, Emily (my namesake) are also buried in Southview. If you are interested in turning this memorial over to me, that would be wonderful. If not, that is fine. I am going to North Adams in a few weeks and will definitely visit Southview where many, many family members are buried there including my grandparents and parents. I plan to look for this child's grave and take a photo for Richard and Ellen's descendants.
Hey there....just saw all the work that you did...great job...will help so many families tracing their roots
when I am there this summer I will try to capture as many photos as possible to add to Findagrave

Hi Jenny -- thanks for all the work you've done on this cemetery. For this particular memorial - which is very hard to read -- I think Cornelius Sullivan is an ancestor of mine and he lived in Kilmacurrane. The other person buried there in addition to his wife would be Ellen Sullivan O'Connor (memorial # 129605090). I know it's well faded, but if you ever are there again, could you see if this information matches what's left of the stone? If you could take a photo, it would be greatly appreciated. Kristin

Thank you for adding the information. My source is a collection called Casey's Genealogy...very minuscule print. Was collected between the 1950's to 1970's.
There will be a mass celebrating the dedication of a chapel in August, I will be in Ballyvourney in August so if you happen to be in the area would be wonderful to see you.

|Elizabeth Tierney Budzilowicz||McCreesh burials in St. Michael's|
Just wanted you to know why I'm adding records to the McCreeshs buried in St. Michael's Newtownhamilton.
Thomas McCreesh (d 1847) is my 3Xs great-grandfather, his son Thomas and wife Annie McGeeney McCreesh my 2Xs great-grandparents. I am in the process of connecting family members on findagrave which is why you will see a few additions to their records. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.
