Bio Photo My father's passing has renewed my interest in family history.

I would like to do volunteer photos. Many people neglect to put plot numbers on their memorials. Some of the cemeteries in this area charge a fee for this information if you are not a direct relative. I can't afford to pay for this information. Anytime I've phoned a cemetery about my ancestors, they've been very helpful but they aren't buried near where I live. I always try to put a plot number especially in a very large cemetery.

Hi Daniela, I have been searching for my mothers side of her family for a while now and I believe you may be my second cousin. Did your father have a brother named Joe and I think his father's name was Charles. I would appreciate if you could let me know. Thank you very much....Kat

Oh I am sorry about misspelling your name. I was just wondered because I've researched this side of my family on Ancestry.com and could never find parents for Emma Williams so I just wanted to know how you got the information.

RE: Emmaus
Hi there.
I spoke with some Shadinger family yesterday and was told that about the only service that is ever held are Sacred Harp Singings and they are not on a regular basis. I went by the church this morning and didn't see any info about any regular church services. If you send me an email, I will give you my phone number if you would like to call and maybe meet if you come down. I live about a mile from the church and will be free after I go to church.

I'm not sure who you would contact....I photographed the entire cemetery. There are unmarked graves there so it is possible he could be among them. There are quite a few concrete crosses but they have no names, dates, or anything on them. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

RE: Harvey lineage
Hi Danelia, we are cousins then cause Norris and my 5th great grandfather William where brothers. I was not sure until Tabatha contacted me because of what she saw on Find A Grave.
I assume you guys have been corresponding. I am waiting to hear back from her again. We are all fairly close cousin`s really. I think you two are a little closer cause you are both from Norris.
Anyway, I never knew any of these people either but they are our direct ancestor`s. Their history and lives are very interesting to me. Its how we got to where we are.
Most all of what history I have on the Harvey`s is on Find A Grave already. I researched myself and was helped by a few people along the way. But, like you, I have not really done that much yet. To busy working on other lines but I am getting to it. I would be glad to help any cousin out where I can. Ask me some question if you want. I will do my best.
Check out all my Find A Grave memorials and my virtual one. Its all on there. I have some questions for you as well. Take care cousin, sincerely, Eli Chandler

Wm. and Norris Harvey are brothers
Hi Danelia, it appears Norris Harvey is the brother of William and my 5th great uncle. I was not sure and have not done that much research on this line.
As you have seen Tabatha and I are corresponding on all of this and I wanted to include you as well. I have many questions about this line and the cemetery I am restoring in Howard County, Mo.. Please check out the changes I made on Find A Grave with several of our relatives and tell me what you think. Just emailed Tabatha about all this and added her and you to my friends list. I hope this is Ok with you. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cousin Eli Chandler
