|I was born in Louisville, KY., but grew up, for the most part, in Edmonson County, KY. I have also lived in Alaska, Indiana, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas and Tennessee; but Edmonson County will always be HOME! |
I married my high school sweetheart two weeks before graduating from Edmonson County High School in 1989. In 1991 we welcomed our first son. In 1993 we welcomed our second son and, a month later, moved to Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee, where we still live.
I started researching my family tree sometime around 2002. My oldest son had a school genealogy project that asked him to show THREE generations. At that time he had 4 grandparents, 7 great grandparents, and 1 great-great grandmother still living. Needless to say, he went past the required three generations and we just keep going from there! When my second son had to do the same project, we dug in to add what we could to the previous tree.
I do this as a hobby, when I can find spare time, and hope to eventually put it all together as a gift for my children, cousins, aunts and uncles. I keep getting "about there" and then find something else that I want to add. This is why, eight years later, I am still working on it!
If I list a memorial, that is your family member and you would like a transfer please feel free to ask for one. Just let me know that what the relationship is!

Hi Jennifer, I just sent you an edit to link his parents; it might seem familiar, I sent it to you a while back and got an email that it was processed but evidently something went wrong because the change never showed up. Just wanted to give you a heads up with the new edit. Thanks for your help, pat
