Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE PHOTOS I HAVE UPLOADED and upload them anywhere, at least not without telling me what you want to use it for and getting my agreement to that. Not only is it against findagrave.com policy guidelines, it's against copyright LAW. As a practical matter, because I am researching more than just cemeteries and interested in connecting with other descendants of mutual ancestors to share all kinds of genealogy information, I want to be the one to upload my photos so that my profile link is below those photos, making it easier for others to contact me. If you want one of my photos added to a memorial on findagrave or ancestry.com, please just ask me, and I will be very happy to do so.
Conversely, despite Findagrave.com's policy GUIDELINES (which are NOT LAWS nor findagrave's conditions for participation), I will gladly transfer any memorial I manage or created to a person more closely related to the person memorialized than I am. I am extremely grateful to the many strangers who have created memorials and uploaded photos, but I think it is more important that a memorial be managed by the closest relative, rather than only if you are descended directly from that person by 3 generations or fewer, especially as contrasted with a stranger.
On ancestry.com, I have made a very wide public tree, "Kline-Barrow & Hackard-Crisp, etc." because I enjoy these kinds of puzzles and have found that I have obtained more information about direct ancestors from distant relatives than close relatives have ever known. And, yes, I do recognize the conflict between that realization and my opinion that memorials be managed by the closest relative.
I haven't been able to go to any new cemeteries since the autumn of 2012 but to the cemeteries I do go to in the future starting hopefully in the autumn of 2015, I will try to check findagrave.com for others' requests. Although our home base is in Colorado, we have traveled off and on to other states for our work and I hope to be doing so again by 2016.

RE: Thanks & question re your photo of the Allans
Deborah, Their last name is indeed Bay and I have put through a name change through Find A Grave with the original poster.

I fulfilled 2 photo requests this week from the Most Precious Blood cemetery in tiny Glidden, WI and they both had wrong names. First time that happened to me.

Regards, Karen

RE: Lewis Hackard
So - I'm confused - headstone has dates of 1855-1924, but Ancestry.com lists 1860-1933.

RE: Lewis Hackard
Relationship is a very thin connection via multiple marriages. What my family would call "shirt-tail cousins".

Robert and Amelia Morris
When Elbert Morris was alive he and I searched the
area next to the fence for these stones. He seemed to recall that location but we never found them. They are not in the large Morris family plot. I will keep an eye out for them as I walk the cemetery but I don't have much hope of finding them....doris

Marvin Snell Bost
I descend from the Whitten and Casey family read a message you wrote to John Bost on Findagrave. I see if I am correct here you relate to Marvin Bost on his wifes side you named her as June. Who was Marvin married to. I am working on the Casey, Hill, Cress, Bost line now. If you can help me on Marvin I would appreciate it.

You maintain this memorial but it was a duplicate put on 10/24/2012. This memorial was put on originally on 7/24/2011. Please send your info to the original memorial and delete this one.

Thanks.
