|Bio and Links|
I have been an avid genealogy researcher for over 35 years and thoroughly enjoy putting my detective instincts to work for myself and others, so much so that it has definitely become my "magnificent obsession"!
My paternal line is of Irish and American Indian descent and consists mainly of Hodge/Hodges, Black, Swartz, Easter, Bozarth,and Roland/Rowland and is mainly found in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska.
My maternal line comes from Germany to New York and consists mainly of Blohme, Mathias, Glaeser, Schureman, Hoberg, and Wilhelm.
I have really enjoyed adding data to the Find-a-Grave site and hope that I may have helped someone find a long-lost relative. If you have any info or photos to add to these postings, or if you would like to have a memorial transferred to you, please do not hesitate to contact me. After all, these memorials do not BELONG to me....they belong to ALL of us.

Could you add the following bio info for Cyrus:
He remarried (about 1865) to Sarah E. Garret in Illinois and their first child, William, was born in 1868 in Indiana. The 2nd son, John,b.about 1873 in Dade County, Missouri. Their 3rd son, Ira Martin, born 5/25/1876 also in Dade County, d.3/19/1955 is my maternal grandfather. He is buried in Tracy Cemetery, McDonald County, MO. Sarah was born in Tennessee.
Thank you, Shirley Busby Hull, Joplin, MO
I just resent the information and obituary to you. I think that William A. Stribling was George W's brother, as they are both in the early Wapello County census records with their families, but they are not the same person. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to let me know. I am happy to help you straighten this up in any way that I can.

P.J., are you getting any of my messages about this man? His memorial is in Shaul Cemetery with a picture of his brother William's gravestone on it. George is buried in the Ottumwa Cemetery. Let me know if you haven't gotten my messages and the obituary I sent you, and I will resend them.

I am transferring some of these to you. If you do not want them, then transfer to Find A Grave by using #8.
|Aaron John Turner||CAPITALIZATION Corrections|
Please see that you correct the capitalization errors in nearly all of your listings. NO names are to be in all capital letters according to the http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs
Please change them to proper conventions of capitalization only the first letter of a name. Thank you.

I am not sure of the connection but I think my grandparents Sarah Eliza (Reed) b. 1858 Coryell Co. TX and Martin H. Hodges b. 1852 Sullivan Co. TN may be related to this Anson -- can you help me verify this ??

Your welcome. I don't know the family. I found him in the cemetery records and found his DC, leading me to his family. There is no stone.
