Bio Photo I love doing genealogy. The search for our ancestors and their stories have intrigued me beyond my own imagination. I love walking the old cemeteries and then, the search that comes with them. I hope I can help another person in their research.

Please, do not add death certificates to the memorials I have created. Sometimes, they can be hurtful to family members. Also, any pictures or information I have added, feel free to use them. It would be nice to have credit for them.

RE: William Gray Andrews
Connie, you made this look so easy. I feel kind of funny when I see something that does not match and bring it to the attention of the memorial owner. I don't do this to make anyone mad. I call it to their attention so they can check the situation.

I had a message from a Robert Sage that I think lives in Austin and he said he had just finished posting around 3,000 pictures pertaining to Junction Cemetery. He was looking for someone that had information on cemetery burials. He wanted to see memorials established for unmarked graves but he would need information on the unmarked. I live in Oklahoma so I would have no idea.

My interest in Junction Cemetery? William Gray Andrews's mother, Sarah Elizabeth (Highsmith) Andrews is a sister of my great grandfather. My great great grandfather Benjamin Franklin Highsmith is buried in Jones Cemetery near Utopia. If you have not read this part of Highsmith history you should google Benjamin Franklin Highsmith.

Thanks
Edwin

RE: Josephine R. MOUDY Norfleet Bell
Hi Connie,

All I have is the death certificate. I'll have to look through my photos, I went to this cemetery and looked and added some I found.
I have relatives buried there and came across her, still have not found any connection with John N. Bell into my line but I have taken a break for awhile researching.

Texas Death Certificate is proof enough for me that she is buried there. Unmarked graves so old that cemeteries loose records of them.

Blessings,
Dave

RE: Andrew Westbrook
Dear Connie,
I've finally found what I thought I'd found but lost while I was caring for my sister after her 8th back surgery (yes, she's had 8 of them, but this one has been the most successful, a real answer to prayer!). At any rate, Andrew and Sophalia married on 17 Nov 1859 at Clay Co., MO. All I can guess is that he and Julia divorced as he is not listed on the 1860 Census w/Julia.

RE: Andrew Westbrook
Dear Connie,
Just wanted you to know I haven't forgotten you; I did some searching and have come up with the same information you have, except that the wife for him I have, Sophalia Stark, was childless during their marriage and, after Andrew's death, lived with her family until she died. She was noted as a widow, last name Westbrook, in every census she was in until she passed.
Will keep looking.

Julia Westbrook
Dear Connie,
I have absolutely no idea how to answer this. He is a cousin of mine on my father's side of the family and I would hope that he wouldn't have been married to two women at the same time. Could you please send me a copy of this marriage record? I just read Julia's memorial and was amazed; is it possible that they divorced for some reason? When was the child, Vernon, born? He is not listed with her other children in her memorial. I need to find when Andrew married Sophalia Stark, haven't been able to find their marriage license as of yet, but haven't gone thru all of my sources yet and it is late and I have a sister who is recovering from back surgery so haven't been on line much the past few days. Will look when I can.

Cardwell Memorials in Seymour, TX
Hello! I found the Cardwell graves in the Masonic Cemetery in Seymour, Baylor Co., TX. The Riverview is across the road. I originally said that I would recreate the memorials with the photo and transfer management, but you have done so much work that I will just add the photos and let you move them to the Masonic. Let me know if you need anything else.
